These builders were super easy and great to work with. Very nice people! They made each step/decision stress free by basically giving me homework and a dead line for that decision. Which I really appreciated because it kept me focused on a certain area of the house. It’s easy to get side tracked and can be overwhelming when building a house. We made some changes down the road in which they were very accommodating with.
We couldn’t be happier with our new home and would choose them again in the future!

Alex custom homes were referred to us. 1st contractor didn't work out, alot of unanswered questions. Kevin and tom answered all of our questions in our 1st meeting. Long story short, certainly a big step to take building a home. A little stress, uncertainty. Kevin always said it would be ok, everything on his end will be taken care of. Both professionally and in personal matters that arose, Kevin wasn't wrong. From our first meeting and going through the process to us moving in to our new ACH house. I questioned alot of things, personally and signing up for all of this. But after it was all said and done, ACH stood behind their word. We're happy with our home and their suggestions and support were over the top. Hindsight being 20/20, I have no regrets having ACH build my new forever home. The entire team were amazing! In October of 2025 we contracted with Alex to remodel part of our house that had been used for our business for approximately 30 years. It had been empty since the start of COVID in 2020. in the years since then we had been talking and planning about converting about 800 square feet of that space into a two bedroom apartment. We had even gotten some preliminary plans drawn up, but we never moved past that. Last year we finally decided to look for a contractor. We did not have to look far. A Google search revealed that just up the street from us was the new office of Alex Custom Homes and Remodeling, with tons of glowing 5 star reviews. We arranged a meeting and shortly thereafter the project was underway. We can only repeat what so many other reviewers have said -- it was a great experience. Our team was exceptional. Communication via group messaging was convenient and effective with responses most often immediate. Everyone was friendly, attentive to our input, and responsive at all times. The remodel was done on-time and within the budget. The results exceeded our hopes and expectations. The day we closed on the apartment project I immediately asked Kevin to give us a proposal to replace our front porch deck and address some other outdoor hardscape needs. Very special thanks go to Mark, our project boss, and interior designer Amy. Their guidance, knowledge, and patience were key to how successful -- and even enjoyable -- the whole experience was for us.

Our overall experience with Alex Custom Homes was amazing. We came in with a self drawn floor plan and preferred elevation type. Tom and Kevin met with us patiently on MANY occasions to tweak every nuance of the build and had their architect / engineers convert it into a buildable plan. We watched the build almost daily. Any questions or issues were always resolved quickly by the team and to our satisfaction. We now live in a home visualized by us and brought to reality by the Alex Custom Homes team. Nothing we would change. Nothing we want or need to do here except live in the home of our dream.
