On paid plans, every BlooTrue Google review widget automatically injects schema.org structured data as JSON-LD into your page's own HTML — a LocalBusiness entity with an AggregateRating (ratingValue, reviewCount, bestRating, worstRating) and up to 10 individual Review entries (author, datePublished, reviewRating, reviewBody). This is the exact markup Google uses to identify review content. The in-iframe schema is read directly by AI assistants and answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) when they fetch the iframe URL. For search engines to credit the markup to your own page, it must also be served on the parent page itself, because Google does not propagate iframe-embedded schema to the host page (a browser-security limitation). A Google review widget is the visual component on your website that displays your reviews to visitors — the slider, marquee, grid, or badge they see and read. Rich snippets (also called rich results) are the enhanced search listings that appear in Google search results, featuring star ratings, rating values, and review counts directly underneath your page's blue link. Rich snippets are generated by Google from schema.org structured data embedded in your page's HTML. BlooTrue delivers both: the visible widget for your website visitors, and the invisible JSON-LD markup that tells Google, Bing and AI answer engines that your page contains review content. For a business showing its own reviews, Google does not turn that markup into stars, so the value is machine-readable reviews rather than a richer search listing. - From your BlooTrue dashboard, copy the standalone JSON-LD endpoint URL for that widget and reference it from the page's head tag — this serves the Review, AggregateRating, and LocalBusiness schema on the parent page itself. Schema embedded inside the widget iframe is read by AI assistants but is not credited to the parent page, so the standalone endpoint (paid plans) is what puts the markup on your own URL.
- Validate the markup using Google's Rich Results Test (search.google.com/test/rich-results) by pasting your page URL. BlooTrue's schema validates. A valid result means the markup is correct, not that Google will show stars.
- Request indexing in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools so crawlers pick up the markup. Do not expect stars under your own result: Google's review-snippet guidelines exclude a business's own reviews shown through a widget.
