Moderation and appeals
We moderate to keep reviews real and lawful, never to make a business look better or worse.

Held reviews
A review that matches one of the checks on How we check reviews is held until a person on our team reads it. We then publish it or reject it under the review rules, and we tell the person who wrote it.
We never hold, approve or reject a review because of its star rating.
What businesses can and cannot do
A business can reply in public to any review on its page, and it can report a review it believes breaks the rules. A report never hides a review by itself: our team decides, records the reason, and emails both the business and the reviewer.
A business cannot edit, hide or delete a review, and it cannot turn off reviews written on BlooTrue. Once its page has a review written on BlooTrue, the page stays live; a business that wants it taken down can contact us.
If the business deletes its BlooTrue account, reviews written on BlooTrue stay on the page, which then says it is not managed by the business.
Businesses pay us for widgets. Paying never changes, hides or removes reviews, and it never changes a rating.
Removing your own review
You can remove your review at any time with the link in the email we sent when you wrote it. A new review you confirm for the same business replaces the old one.
When we remove a review
- It breaks the review rules.
- A court orders it, or a legal notice shows that it is unlawful.
- The person who wrote it asks us to.
Appeals
If we rejected or removed your review, or kept up a review you reported, reply to our email within 30 days and tell us why you think we got it wrong. We look at it again and answer within 10 business days.
