How ratings work
Every rating on a BlooTrue page says where it comes from.

Trust and reviews › How ratings work
Each platform's own rating
For Google, Facebook and the other platforms, we show the rating and review count that the platform itself shows. We never work it out from the reviews on our page.
We never blend ratings from different platforms into one score. The rating at the top of the page belongs to the platform with the most reviews, and it is labelled with that platform's name.
For search engines, we mark up the rating at the top of the page, the same rating and count you see there, together with the reviews shown on the page.
The BlooTrue rating
Once a business has 3 published reviews written on BlooTrue, we show a BlooTrue rating: the plain average of their stars. Every published review counts the same. Held, rejected and removed reviews do not count.
Before 3, the reviews are shown without a rating.
The review summary
The "What customers say" summary is written by AI from the reviews on the page. The reviews themselves are the source; read them for the details.
Money and reviews
Businesses pay us for widgets. Paying never changes, hides or removes reviews, and it never changes a rating.
