How it installs on Canva

  1. 1

    Open your Canva website design.

  2. 2

Choose Apps → Embed (or type Embed in the elements search).

  3. 3

Paste the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel.

  4. 4

Publish the website — the reviews render inside the embed.

Where the code goes on Canva

Canva websites take the widget as a URL, not as raw HTML. Choose Apps → Embed, or type Embed in the elements search, and paste the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel instead of the script tag. Canva shows the embed as a resizable element on the canvas, and you drag it to the height the reviews need, because the frame does not grow on its own. On the published website Canva renders the embed inside an iframe, isolated from the page's own HTML. Place it under the hero block, ahead of pricing.

Where reviews earn their place on a Canva site

Under the hero block of the one-page site, before pricing.

If the widget does not show on Canva

  • If Canva rejects what you paste, you probably pasted the script tag. Canva's Embed element accepts a URL only, so use the widget's direct URL.
  • Reviews cut off inside the Canva embed? Drag the element taller on the canvas; the iframe does not expand by itself to fit the widget.
  • Changed the URL but the live site still shows the old widget? Canva websites update only when you publish again from the editor.

Canva Review Widgets — FAQ

Is there a free review widget for Canva?
Yes — BlooTrue embeds Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, G2, Capterra, Airbnb, Booking.com or any of 21 review platforms on Canva for free. Canva Sites takes a URL embed, not raw HTML. No plugin, no view caps.
Which review platforms can I show on Canva?
21 platforms: Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Angi, Glassdoor, Agoda, BBB, OpenTable, RateMDs, Capterra, G2, Indeed, TrustRadius, Clutch, Expedia, Booking.com, Etsy, Google Play — each with its own Canva install guide. Starter ($9/month) blends its 3 connected platforms into one all-in-one widget, and Pro ($29/month) and higher blend every platform you connect.
Do I need a Canva plugin or app?
No. BlooTrue is a pure HTML embed — one line of code pasted into the Canva editor. Canva Sites takes a URL embed, not raw HTML.
Does a Canva website accept a reviews widget?
Yes, but as a URL rather than code. Canva's Embed element, found under Apps → Embed or by typing Embed in the elements search, accepts a link and shows it in an iframe. Copy the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel, paste it into the element, and publish the website.
Why won't Canva accept my HTML embed code?
Canva websites do not support raw HTML or script tags anywhere in the editor. The Embed element takes a URL only. BlooTrue provides a direct URL for each widget in its embed panel for exactly this case; use that link instead of the script and Canva loads the reviews inside the embed.
How do I size the review embed on a Canva page?
The Embed element is a resizable box on the Canva canvas. Drag its corners until it is tall and wide enough for the reviews, because the iframe Canva uses does not expand when the widget loads. Leave a little extra height so the last review is not clipped on the published site.
