Google's review-snippet guidelines (updated July 2026) make a business's own pages ineligible for star results when the reviews about it come through an embedded third-party widget, and ask sites not to aggregate ratings from other websites. That rules out stars from any review widget, ours included, so we do not promise them. What the markup does is make your rating and reviews machine-readable for search engines and AI answer engines. Schema markup is a paid feature, so free-plan widgets display your reviews but don't emit JSON-LD.

What is a review widget?

A review widget is a small block of code you paste into your website that shows your reviews from sites like Google, Yelp or Trustpilot. Visitors see your real reviews and star rating without leaving your page, and the widget keeps them in one tidy, styled layout.

Is there a free review widget for my website?

Can a review widget show product reviews?

It shows the reviews your business or product already has on review platforms, such as Google, Trustpilot, G2, Capterra or Etsy. BlooTrue does not collect reviews at checkout, so if your product reviews live inside your store's own review app, use that app's widget for them.

Does BlooTrue limit how many times my reviews widget can be viewed?

No. Every BlooTrue plan, including the free plan, includes unlimited widget views. Your reviews are never hidden or paused for hitting a monthly view limit — unlike some competitors that cap free widgets. Elfsight, for example, caps free widgets at around 200 views/month and then deactivates them; BlooTrue keeps your widget live no matter how much traffic your pages get.

How do I update my free widget with new reviews?

Free widgets show your latest 10 reviews from the day you created them and don't get new ones — the widget keeps working on your site, it just stays on that snapshot.

Which review source should I pick first?

Start with the source where you already have the most reviews. For most local businesses that's Google — Google reviews are the ones most customers check before they call.

Does one widget work across multiple websites?

Yes. Each widget has one embed code, and you can paste it on as many pages and websites as you like on every plan, the free plan included. Views are unlimited. Paid plans add a domain allowlist so the widget only loads on the sites you choose.

Can I show reviews from more than one source on the same page?

Yes, two ways, both on paid plans because the free plan has one widget. Make one widget per platform (a Google widget, a Yelp widget, a Facebook widget) and paste each code where you want it, or make one all-in-one widget that mixes reviews from several platforms, with each card showing where its review came from.
