Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Indeed reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

Why put Indeed reviews on your site?

Indeed is the world's most-visited job site, and its company reviews influence whether candidates hit apply. Embedding your Indeed reviews on your careers page adds credibility exactly where hiring converts.

About Indeed reviews in this widget

An Indeed widget shows the company reviews from your Indeed company page, with the rating out of 5 and review count Indeed displays there in the header. Indeed company reviews are written by current and former employees about pay, management and the working day, which makes them a hiring asset rather than a sales one. Site owners go wrong by placing them next to customer testimonials on the homepage, where a review about shift patterns confuses buyers. Put the widget on your job and careers pages instead, where readers are the people Indeed's reviewers are addressing.

Using Indeed reviews to hire

Indeed company reviews are written by current and former employees and read by people deciding whether to apply. That makes them a hiring tool: they belong on the pages candidates read, and they answer questions a job ad cannot, about managers, pay and what a normal week looks like.

What Indeed asks employees to rate

Besides the overall star rating, your Indeed company page shows a score out of 5 for each of five areas: work-life balance, pay and benefits, job security and advancement, management, and culture. Some company pages also show a separate work wellbeing score. Read the five before you embed the widget: the lowest one is the question candidates will bring to the interview, and a careers page that addresses it head-on reads as honest.

Where employee reviews help you hire

Put them where a candidate is deciding whether to apply.

  • The careers page, between the section about your culture and the list of open roles.
  • Individual job pages, near the Apply button.
  • Landing pages for a hiring campaign, such as a new location or a seasonal intake.

Indeed and Glassdoor on one careers page

Candidates who look a company up often check Glassdoor as well as Indeed. If you have reviews on both, the Starter plan's all-in-one widget blends its three connected platforms into a single block with every card labelled, so the careers page shows both without two separate widgets.

Example

A regional care provider that hires all year

It has dozens of open roles across several care homes at any time. HR builds one Indeed widget as a list and adds the same code to the template its job pages share, so every role shows the company rating and recent employee reviews next to the Apply button. One widget on every job page is within the free plan; a paid plan keeps the reviews current as employees post new ones.

Indeed Review Widget — FAQ

Where is the Indeed URL that the builder asks for?
It is your company page on Indeed, in the form indeed.com/cmp/Your-Company, and the Reviews tab of that page is where employees post. The widget reads the rating and the reviews from that page, so paste the company page address, not a job posting, which carries no reviews of its own.
Will the widget show the same rating as my Indeed company page?
Yes. The header repeats the rating out of 5 and the review count from your Indeed company page as Indeed states them; BlooTrue never recalculates them from the employee reviews it lists. On the free plan the figure is the one captured when the widget was made, so it trails Indeed until you upgrade.
I have several open roles on my site, can the Indeed widget go on every job page?
Yes. The free plan gives you one Indeed widget, but its one-line embed can be pasted into every job page, and views are unlimited, so each page shows the same company rating and employee reviews from Indeed. If you later want the BlooTrue badge gone and daily refresh from Indeed, that is a paid plan.
Is the BlooTrue Indeed review widget free?
Yes. The free plan embeds Indeed reviews on any website with no plugin, no recurring fee and unlimited views. It shows the reviews present when the widget is created, with a small BlooTrue badge; paid plans refresh daily and remove the badge.
How do I add Indeed reviews to my website?
Paste your Indeed profile URL into the builder on this page, pick a style, copy the one-line embed code and paste it into your site. The same code works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and plain HTML, with no plugin, extension or app.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
On paid plans, yes: the widget re-reads your Indeed page every 24 hours, so new reviews appear on their own. The free plan keeps the reviews imported at setup, which suits a business that collects reviews slowly and wants a fixed set on the page.
