Where the code goes on Shopify

On Shopify the embed code belongs in a Custom Liquid section or block, added through Online Store → Themes → Customize. The Customize preview usually executes the script, so you tend to see the reviews before you save. The section spans the page width your theme sets, and the widget's own height decides how tall it gets. Do not use a Rich Text section, because Shopify strips script tags from it. Older vintage themes without Custom Liquid can use an HTML section or the page's Show HTML editor view in the admin.
