  1. 1

    Edit the page with Elementor.

  2. 2

Drag the HTML widget from the Elementor panel into a section.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the HTML Code field.

  4. 4

Click Update — the widget renders immediately, including in the editor.

Where the code goes on Elementor

In Elementor the embed code goes into the HTML widget, dragged from the Elementor panel into a section and pasted into its HTML Code field. Elementor runs the script on the canvas, so the reviews show while you edit as well as after you click Update. Do not use a Text Editor widget, because it sanitizes script tags on save. The widget takes the width of its column and its height follows the reviews. Since Elementor runs inside WordPress, a caching or security plugin can serve a stale page or block the script; purge the cache after updating.

Where reviews earn their place on a Elementor site

A full-width section under the hero, or inside a popup triggered on exit intent.

If the widget does not show on Elementor

  • If the reviews vanished after saving, you used a Text Editor widget; move the code into an HTML widget, which keeps script tags.
  • If the editor shows the reviews but the live page does not, purge your WordPress caching plugin so the updated page is served.
  • If a security or optimization plugin defers scripts, exclude the BlooTrue script from its settings and reload.

Elementor Review Widgets — FAQ

Is there a free review widget for Elementor?
Yes — BlooTrue embeds Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, G2, Capterra, Airbnb, Booking.com or any of 21 review platforms on Elementor for free. Drag the HTML widget into any section — works on free Elementor. No plugin, no view caps.
Which review platforms can I show on Elementor?
21 platforms: Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Angi, Glassdoor, Agoda, BBB, OpenTable, RateMDs, Capterra, G2, Indeed, TrustRadius, Clutch, Expedia, Booking.com, Etsy, Google Play — each with its own Elementor install guide. Starter ($9/month) blends its 3 connected platforms into one all-in-one widget, and Pro ($29/month) and higher blend every platform you connect.
Do I need a Elementor plugin or app?
No. BlooTrue is a pure HTML embed — one line of code pasted into the Elementor editor. Drag the HTML widget into any section — works on free Elementor.
Do I need a WordPress plugin to show reviews with Elementor?
No. Elementor's own HTML widget, available in the free version, takes the BlooTrue embed code. Drag it into a section, paste into the HTML Code field, click Update. The reviews render in the editor immediately, so you do not need a separate review plugin or Elementor Pro.
Why did Elementor strip my embed code?
The Text Editor widget sanitizes script tags when it saves, so an embed pasted there loses its script and shows nothing. Use the HTML widget instead, which stores the code as written. Drag it from the Elementor panel, paste into the HTML Code field and Update.
Can I put the review widget in an Elementor popup?
Yes, on sites with Elementor Pro's popup builder. Add the HTML widget inside the popup template, paste the code and set a trigger such as exit intent. The reviews render inside the popup the same way they do in a page section. Popups are a Pro feature of Elementor.
