Google Review Widget for Elementor — Free, Works on Free Elementor
BlooTrue's Google Review Widget for Elementor is a free embed that displays your Google reviews on any page built with Elementor, the most widely used WordPress page builder. The install uses Elementor's built-in HTML widget: search "HTML" in the widget panel, drag it into the section where reviews should appear, and paste the embed code. The HTML widget ships with free Elementor — no Pro license, no add-on pack, no third-party extension. The live preview updates right inside the editor canvas, so you design around the real widget instead of a placeholder. Pro users can drop the same embed into Elementor popups and Theme Builder footers — a footer placement puts reviews on every page at once. One caution: avoid the Text Editor widget, which strips scripts on some setups; the HTML widget passes the snippet through untouched. Six widget styles, light and dark themes, free custom color picker, and SEO rich snippets — schema.org Review + AggregateRating JSON-LD — injected automatically.
How to embed Google reviews in Elementor in 60 seconds
- Search your business in the configurator above (or paste your Google Maps share link).
- Pick a widget style and customize colors, theme, and layout.
- Click Copy Code to get the one-line HTML embed.
- Open the page with Edit with Elementor.
- In the widget panel, search for "HTML" and drag the HTML widget into the target section.
- Paste the embed into the HTML Code field — the preview updates live — then click Publish.
HTML widget vs. Text Editor widget
Use the HTML widget, not the Text Editor widget. The Text Editor runs content through WordPress filters that strip script tags on some setups, which silently breaks the embed. The HTML widget is purpose-built for snippets like this and renders the live widget inside the editor.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. The HTML widget is part of free Elementor. Pro only matters if you want the widget inside a popup or a Theme Builder footer/header template — those surfaces are Pro features, and the embed works in both.
