Templated regions use visual fields that escape script tags, so paste into the code view. The theme editor does not run the script on its canvas; confirm the reviews on the shop after you save or publish the theme. The element takes the width of its section. Theme edits apply storefront-wide, so an element in a shared section shows on every page, while a page's Source view limits it to that page.

If the widget does not show on Lightspeed

  • If the shop shows the snippet as text, the visual field escaped it; paste into the code view of the element or template region.
  • If the theme editor shows nothing, that is expected; save or publish the theme and open the shop to see the reviews.
  • If the widget shows on every page but you want one page, paste it in that page's Source view instead of the theme.
