Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Google reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Google Reviews to Bubble

One embed code, pasted into the HTML element.

  1. 1

Open your app in the Bubble editor.

  2. 2

Drag an HTML element from the visual elements palette onto the page.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code inside the element's HTML property.

  4. 4

Preview or deploy — the widget renders wherever the element is placed.

Give the HTML element enough height (or enable 'stretch to fit content') so longer review layouts aren't clipped.

Where the Code Goes on Bubble

In Bubble the embed code goes into an HTML element from the visual elements palette, pasted into that element's HTML property. The editor draws the element as an outlined box and does not render the script, so the reviews only show in Preview or on the deployed app. The element keeps fixed dimensions unless you turn on stretch to fit content, and without that a longer review layout is clipped at the bottom edge. Bubble keeps development and live versions of the app, so the widget only reaches users after you deploy to live.

If the widget does not show on Bubble

  • If reviews are cut off at the bottom, enable stretch to fit content on the HTML element or give it more height in the property editor.
  • If the widget works in Preview but not for users, you have only changed the development version; deploy the app to live.
  • If the element shows nothing in Preview, confirm the code sits in the HTML property, not in a text element's rich text.

Where Google reviews help most on Bubble

A custom site for a local business, or a brand with several branches, usually has a template per location page. Render the Google widget for that location on its own page, near the address, the hours and the call button, so each branch shows its own reviews and its own score. One widget for the whole brand on every location page would show the same reviews everywhere and hide the real difference between branches. On the home page, a compact badge is enough. Add the widget to the location template once rather than page by page, and every new branch page picks it up when it goes live.

About Google reviews in this widget

Your Google widget shows the reviews on your Google Business Profile, and the number above the cards is the Google rating and review count as Google reports them, not an average of the cards. Anyone with a Google account can rate you from Maps or Search, no purchase needed. Google offers no review embed and the Business Profile has no widget, so pasting a Maps embed gives owners a map, not reviews. The free plan keeps the 4-star-and-up Google reviews imported at creation; a review left on Maps next week needs a paid plan's daily refresh.

Google Widget on Bubble — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Google review widget free for Bubble?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Google reviews on Bubble. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Bubble?
Open your app in the Bubble editor. Drag an HTML element from the visual elements palette onto the page. Paste the BlooTrue embed code inside the element's HTML property. Preview or deploy — the widget renders wherever the element is placed.
Anything specific to Bubble worth knowing before I embed?
Give the HTML element enough height (or enable 'stretch to fit content') so longer review layouts aren't clipped.
Where should I place Google reviews on Bubble for the biggest lift?
Marketing pages and in-app landing screens — Bubble apps often lack social proof; a review slider fixes that in minutes.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Google reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Bubble again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Why does the rating in my Google widget not match the average of the reviews it shows?
Because the header number is what Google publishes for your Business Profile, not a figure BlooTrue works out from the cards. The free plan shows only your 4-star-and-up Google reviews, so averaging those cards would give a higher number than Google does. Keeping Google's rating and count means visitors see the figure from Maps.
Can I get an embed code for reviews from my Google Business Profile?
No. The Business Profile gives you a link for asking customers to review you, but no embed code and no widget. The BlooTrue builder finds your profile when you type the business name, city and country, then hands you a one-line embed to paste into your website with no plugin, in about a minute.
Will embedding Google reviews put star ratings under my site in Google search?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. A paid widget still emits schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD carrying your Google rating, and that markup reaches your page when the builder renders the embed inline rather than in a sandboxed iframe, so search engines and AI assistants can read your reviews as structured data.
