Open the Ecwid Storefront Editor

In your Ecwid (Ecwid by Lightspeed) control panel, open Sales Channels → Storefront, then click Edit Site to launch the storefront editor.

This is the path for a standalone Ecwid Instant Site — i.e. when your store URL is on an Ecwid-hosted domain (mystore.company.site) or a custom domain pointed at the Ecwid Instant Site. If your Ecwid store is embedded inside Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, or plain HTML, skip to step 4.

Add a Code Element

On the page where you want reviews to appear, click + Add Element, scroll to the Code element, and drop it into the layout where the reviews should sit.

Paste in the HTML Field

Click the placed Code element, paste the BlooTrue embed code into the HTML field, and click outside the field to save.

Click Publish in the top-right corner of the storefront editor. Your Google reviews are now live on the standalone Ecwid Instant Site.

Embedded Ecwid: Paste on the Host Page Instead

Most Ecwid merchants run embedded mode — Ecwid is the shopping cart component inside a Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, or plain HTML host site. In that case, do not paste inside Ecwid's Code element. Paste the BlooTrue embed on the host page's HTML widget instead, alongside the Ecwid storefront component.

  • Wix: drop a Custom Code or HTML iframe element next to the Ecwid Store component, paste, save, publish.
  • WordPress: use a Custom HTML block (or shortcode) on the page that holds the Ecwid embed, paste, update.
  • Squarespace: add a Code Block to the page next to the Ecwid embed, paste, save.
  • Plain HTML site: paste the embed in the page's HTML directly.
