Elementor sites for local firms often pack a lot into each section: columns of services, a form, a map. Facebook recommendations are free-text comments of any length, so where you drop them in that grid changes how they read. Elementor shows the result while you edit, which makes it easy to get right before anyone visits.

Can Facebook recommendations fit in a narrow Elementor column?

They fit, but a narrow column turns each recommendation into a tall, thin block, because the comments run from a few words to a full paragraph. Beside a contact form, give the reviews column at least as much width as the form.

Then switch Elementor to its tablet and mobile views and look at the longest recommendation you have. If it pushes the form far down on a phone, move the reviews into their own section below the form instead.

Do I need Elementor Pro or a Facebook plugin for this?

No to both. The HTML widget in free Elementor takes the BlooTrue code as it is, and the widget is built from your Page URL, so no Facebook plugin, app or ad spend is involved.

Where the Code Goes on Elementor

In Elementor the embed code goes into the HTML widget, dragged from the Elementor panel into a section and pasted into its HTML Code field.

Elementor runs the script on the canvas, so the reviews show while you edit as well as after you click Update. Do not use a Text Editor widget, because it sanitizes script tags on save. The widget takes the width of its column and its height follows the reviews. Since Elementor runs inside WordPress, a caching or security plugin can serve a stale page or block the script; purge the cache after updating.

If the widget does not show on Elementor

  • If the reviews vanished after saving, you used a Text Editor widget; move the code into an HTML widget, which keeps script tags.
  • If the editor shows the reviews but the live page does not, purge your WordPress caching plugin so the updated page is served.
  • If a security or optimization plugin defers scripts, exclude the BlooTrue script from its settings and reload.
