Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Facebook reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add Facebook Reviews to Podia

One embed code, pasted into the Custom code / embed section. Custom code sections may require a paid Podia plan.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Podia site editor.

  2. 2

Add a new section and choose the custom code / embed option where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the section.

  4. 4

Save — the widget renders on your published Podia page.

Podia renders embeds on the published page; while editing you may only see the section frame.

Where the Code Goes on Podia

On Podia the embed code lives in a custom code / embed section that you add to a page in the Podia site editor. While you are editing, the section usually shows only its frame, because Podia renders third-party embeds on the published page rather than in the editor. The section spans the page's content width and grows to fit the widget once the reviews load. Put it on a product or course page next to the pricing block, so buyers see the reviews beside the price they are about to pay.

If the widget does not show on Podia

  • An empty section frame in the Podia editor is normal. Podia renders embeds on the published page, so save and open the live product page.
  • If no custom code or embed option appears when you add a section, check whether your Podia plan includes custom code sections.
  • One Podia product page shows reviews and another does not? The custom code section belongs to a single page; repeat the paste on the other product.

Where Facebook reviews help most on Podia

Local service owners who also teach, a dog trainer, a fitness coach, a driving instructor, a stylist running workshops, often sell online courses on Podia next to the in-person business. The Facebook reviews from local clients are the proof that the method works on real people. Put the widget on the course sales page, under the section about you, and say plainly that the reviews come from your in-person clients on Facebook. That honesty matters: the reviews are about your service, not the course itself. Leave the widget out of the course player, and add it to any page that sells in-person sessions alongside the course.

About Facebook reviews in this widget

The Facebook widget embeds the recommendations left on your Facebook Page. Facebook retired star ratings for Pages in 2018, so there is no native Facebook star average; the widget shows each Recommends as a 5-star card and turns the Page's overall recommendation percentage into a 0 to 5 star figure for the header, both read from your Page. A customer leaves a recommendation by tapping Recommends or Doesn't recommend and writing a comment, which only works once Reviews are switched on in your Page settings. Many owners reach for Facebook's Page Plugin instead, an iframe of your timeline with no way to feature recommendations.

Facebook Widget on Podia — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Facebook review widget free for Podia?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Facebook reviews on Podia. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Podia?
Open the page in the Podia site editor. Add a new section and choose the custom code / embed option where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the section. Save — the widget renders on your published Podia page. Custom code sections may require a paid Podia plan.
Anything specific to Podia worth knowing before I embed?
Podia renders embeds on the published page; while editing you may only see the section frame.
Where should I place Facebook reviews on Podia for the biggest lift?
Product and course pages near the pricing block — buyer proof at the exact purchase decision.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Facebook reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Podia again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Facebook only lets people click Recommends, so what rating does my widget display?
Facebook dropped numeric stars for Pages in 2018, so the widget does not invent a Facebook star average. Each Recommends becomes a 5-star card, and the header converts the Page's overall recommendation percentage into a 0 to 5 star figure. Both come from your Page, not from a calculation over the cards on your site.
Can I use Facebook's own Page Plugin to embed my recommendations?
No. The Page Plugin drops your whole Page timeline into an iframe and has no setting to show only recommendations, and Facebook's own tools cannot place them on an external site at all. The BlooTrue builder takes your Page URL instead and gives you a one-line embed, with no Facebook ad spend and no plugin required.
My Page has no Reviews tab, so where would the recommendations come from?
They only exist once you turn them on: open your Facebook Page settings, find the Reviews or Recommendations option and switch it on. Until then customers cannot tap Recommends and the builder finds nothing to import. A free widget holds the recommendations found that day; paid plans check the Page daily and drop the BlooTrue badge.
