Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Facebook reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Facebook Reviews to Odoo

One embed code, pasted into the Embed Code building block.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Odoo Website editor (Edit mode).

  2. 2

Drag the Embed Code building block from the Blocks panel to where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Click the block, open its code editor, and paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Save the page — the widget renders on the published website.

Odoo may show the block frame while editing — the reviews render after you hit Save and view the page outside Edit mode.

Where the Code Goes on Odoo

Odoo's website editor keeps the embed code inside an Embed Code building block that you drag from the Blocks panel onto the page. In Edit mode you mostly see the block's frame; the reviews appear after you save and view the page outside Edit mode. The block fills the width of the column or section you drop it into, and its height follows the widget once the script has run. Odoo pages are edited one at a time, so a shop page and a service page each need their own block.

If the widget does not show on Odoo

  • Still seeing only a frame? Leave Edit mode after saving. Odoo runs the Embed Code block's script on the normal page view, not inside the editor.
  • If the block shows the code as text, you pasted into a Text block. Delete it and use the Embed Code block from the Blocks panel instead.
  • Reviews look outdated on your Odoo page? A free widget keeps its creation-time reviews; daily refresh is a paid BlooTrue feature, not an Odoo setting.

Where Facebook reviews help most on Odoo

Local businesses that sell through Odoo are usually a shop with a counter as well as a website: a bakery, a bike shop, a florist. Customers who reviewed you on Facebook mostly reviewed the visit, the service and the staff, not a single product, so the widget belongs on store-wide pages rather than product pages: the home page under the banner, the About page, and the page that explains delivery or local pickup. That last one matters most, because it is where a nearby buyer decides whether to trust you with an order. If a product review app already shows per-item stars, keep Facebook reviews off those pages so the two never get mixed up.

About Facebook reviews in this widget

The Facebook widget embeds the recommendations left on your Facebook Page. Facebook retired star ratings for Pages in 2018, so there is no native Facebook star average; the widget shows each Recommends as a 5-star card and turns the Page's overall recommendation percentage into a 0 to 5 star figure for the header, both read from your Page. A customer leaves a recommendation by tapping Recommends or Doesn't recommend and writing a comment, which only works once Reviews are switched on in your Page settings. Many owners reach for Facebook's Page Plugin instead, an iframe of your timeline with no way to feature recommendations.

Facebook Widget on Odoo — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Facebook review widget free for Odoo?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Facebook reviews on Odoo. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Odoo?
Open the page in the Odoo Website editor (Edit mode). Drag the Embed Code building block from the Blocks panel to where the reviews should appear. Click the block, open its code editor, and paste the BlooTrue embed code. Save the page — the widget renders on the published website.
Anything specific to Odoo worth knowing before I embed?
Odoo may show the block frame while editing — the reviews render after you hit Save and view the page outside Edit mode.
Where should I place Facebook reviews on Odoo for the biggest lift?
Shop and service pages near the add-to-cart or contact CTA — review proof where Odoo's default themes have none.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Facebook reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Odoo again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Facebook only lets people click Recommends, so what rating does my widget display?
Facebook dropped numeric stars for Pages in 2018, so the widget does not invent a Facebook star average. Each Recommends becomes a 5-star card, and the header converts the Page's overall recommendation percentage into a 0 to 5 star figure. Both come from your Page, not from a calculation over the cards on your site.
Can I use Facebook's own Page Plugin to embed my recommendations?
No. The Page Plugin drops your whole Page timeline into an iframe and has no setting to show only recommendations, and Facebook's own tools cannot place them on an external site at all. The BlooTrue builder takes your Page URL instead and gives you a one-line embed, with no Facebook ad spend and no plugin required.
My Page has no Reviews tab, so where would the recommendations come from?
They only exist once you turn them on: open your Facebook Page settings, find the Reviews or Recommendations option and switch it on. Until then customers cannot tap Recommends and the builder finds nothing to import. A free widget holds the recommendations found that day; paid plans check the Page daily and drop the BlooTrue badge.
