Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to Odoo

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed Code building block on Odoo and publish.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Odoo Website editor (Edit mode).

  2. 2

Drag the Embed Code building block from the Blocks panel to where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Click the block, open its code editor, and paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Save the page — the widget renders on the published website.

Odoo may show the block frame while editing — the reviews render after you hit Save and view the page outside Edit mode.

Where the Code Goes on Odoo

Odoo's website editor keeps the embed code inside an Embed Code building block that you drag from the Blocks panel onto the page.

In Edit mode you mostly see the block's frame; the reviews appear after you save and view the page outside Edit mode. The block fills the width of the column or section you drop it into, and its height follows the widget once the script has run. Odoo pages are edited one at a time, so a shop page and a service page each need their own block.

If the widget does not show on Odoo

  • Still seeing only a frame? Leave Edit mode after saving. Odoo runs the Embed Code block's script on the normal page view, not inside the editor.
  • If the block shows the code as text, you pasted into a Text block. Delete it and use the Embed Code block from the Blocks panel instead.
  • Reviews look outdated on your Odoo page? A free widget keeps its creation-time reviews; daily refresh is a paid BlooTrue feature, not an Odoo setting.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

RateMDs Review Widget for Odoo — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any Odoo page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the Embed Code building block.

Where RateMDs reviews help most on Odoo

Clinics that sell through Odoo, skincare, supplements, treatment vouchers, need to be careful about where patient reviews appear.

RateMDs reviews describe the doctor or the clinic, not the products, so they belong on the About page and on pages that sell consultations or treatments, not on product pages for creams or supplements, where they could read as a medical endorsement of the product. On a treatment voucher page, place the widget under the description. Keep it off the checkout. Rules on using patient reviews in advertising vary by profession and region, so check yours first.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on Odoo — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for Odoo?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on Odoo. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Odoo?
Open the page in the Odoo Website editor (Edit mode). Drag the Embed Code building block from the Blocks panel to where the reviews should appear. Click the block, open its code editor, and paste the BlooTrue embed code. Save the page — the widget renders on the published website.
Anything specific to Odoo worth knowing before I embed?
Odoo may show the block frame while editing — the reviews render after you hit Save and view the page outside Edit mode.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on Odoo for the biggest lift?
Shop and service pages near the add-to-cart or contact CTA — review proof where Odoo's default themes have none.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Odoo again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
