Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to WooCommerce

One embed code, pasted into the Custom HTML block.

  1. 1

Open the shop page, product template, or landing page in the WordPress block editor.

  2. 2

Add a Custom HTML block where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

    Paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Update — the widget renders on the live store.

For per-product placement, add the block to the product template in the Site Editor (block themes) — not the product's short description, which escapes scripts.

Where the Code Goes on WooCommerce

A WooCommerce store carries the embed in a Custom HTML block in the WordPress block editor, on the shop page, a landing page, or the product template. The block editor shows the raw code while you edit, and its Preview tab can show the rendered widget. The block spans your theme's content width, and the height is whatever the widget renders. For per-product placement on a block theme, edit the single product template in the Site Editor, not the product's short description, which escapes scripts. Caching and security plugins can delay or strip scripts.

If the widget does not show on WooCommerce

  • Script printed as text on the product page? You pasted into the short description, which escapes scripts. Use a Custom HTML block in the product template.
  • Widget not updating after you click Update? Purge your WordPress caching plugin, which can keep serving the old page markup to visitors.
  • Some WordPress security plugins block external scripts; check the plugin's settings if the widget never loads on your WooCommerce store, then reload.

RateMDs Review Widget for WooCommerce — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any WooCommerce page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the Custom HTML block.

Where RateMDs reviews help most on WooCommerce

Clinics that sell through WooCommerce, skincare, supplements, treatment vouchers, need to be careful about where patient reviews appear. RateMDs reviews describe the doctor or the clinic, not the products, so they belong on the About page and on pages that sell consultations or treatments, not on product pages for creams or supplements, where they could read as a medical endorsement of the product. On a treatment voucher page, place the widget under the description. Keep it off the checkout. Rules on using patient reviews in advertising vary by profession and region, so check yours first.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on WooCommerce — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for WooCommerce?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on WooCommerce. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on WooCommerce?
Open the shop page, product template, or landing page in the WordPress block editor. Add a Custom HTML block where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code. Update — the widget renders on the live store.
Anything specific to WooCommerce worth knowing before I embed?
For per-product placement, add the block to the product template in the Site Editor (block themes) — not the product's short description, which escapes scripts.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on WooCommerce for the biggest lift?
Under the add-to-cart area of product pages and on the checkout page above the payment box.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching WooCommerce again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
