Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to Teachable

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Custom HTML block on Teachable and publish. Custom code blocks require a paid Teachable plan.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Teachable page editor (Site → Pages).

  2. 2

Add a block and choose Custom HTML where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block.

  4. 4

Save and publish — the widget renders on your school page.

Custom HTML renders on the published school page; the editor may show the raw block while editing.

Where the Code Goes on Teachable

On Teachable the embed code goes into a Custom HTML block added in the page editor, reached through Site, then Pages, or from a course's sales page in the same editor.

While you edit, the block can show the raw code instead of the reviews; the rendered widget appears once you save and publish. The block spans the content width of the page editor and takes whatever height the reviews need on the published school page. Teachable's site-wide code snippets setting injects code into the head or body of every page, so it suits tracking scripts rather than a widget.

If the widget does not show on Teachable

  • Seeing your pasted code as text while editing a Teachable page is normal for the Custom HTML block; the reviews render after you save and publish.
  • If Custom HTML is missing from the block list, your Teachable school is on a plan without custom code blocks; upgrade before trying again.
  • A course sales page is edited apart from Site, Pages, so if reviews show on the homepage but not the sales page, add the block there too.

RateMDs Review Widget for Teachable — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any Teachable page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the Custom HTML block. Custom code blocks require a paid Teachable plan.

Where RateMDs reviews help most on Teachable

Practitioners who teach on Teachable, courses for other clinicians, or programmes for patients such as back care or nutrition, can show their RateMDs reviews as proof of their clinical work.

Put the widget on the course sales page next to the instructor bio, and label it clearly as patient reviews of your practice, not reviews of the course. For programmes sold to patients, keep reviews away from any statement about results, so they cannot read as a promise. Keep the widget out of the lesson pages, where students are already enrolled.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on Teachable — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for Teachable?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on Teachable. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Teachable?
Open the page in the Teachable page editor (Site → Pages). Add a block and choose Custom HTML where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block. Save and publish — the widget renders on your school page. Custom code blocks require a paid Teachable plan.
Anything specific to Teachable worth knowing before I embed?
Custom HTML renders on the published school page; the editor may show the raw block while editing.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on Teachable for the biggest lift?
Course sales pages under the course title and near the enroll button — student proof at the enrollment decision.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Teachable again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
