Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to Thinkific

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Text & Media section (code view) on Thinkific and publish.

  1. 1

Open the page in Thinkific Site Builder (Design Your Site).

  2. 2

Add a Text & Media section where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

In the text editor, click the code view button (</>) and paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Toggle back, save, and view the live page — the widget renders there.

Paste the embed in the section's CODE view (</> button) — pasting into the normal text view escapes the HTML instead of rendering it.

Where the Code Goes on Thinkific

Thinkific's Site Builder, under Design Your Site, holds the embed inside a Text & Media section.

Open the section's text editor and switch to code view with the </> button before pasting; the normal text view treats the snippet as literal text and prints angle brackets instead of reviews. The section stretches to the content width of your theme and grows with the widget, so no height setting is needed. The Site Builder preview may leave the area empty until you save and open the live page, which is where the reviews actually render.

If the widget does not show on Thinkific

  • Seeing the raw embed code as text on the page means it was pasted in the normal view. Reopen code view (</>) and paste there.
  • If the reviews are in the editor but vanish live, the section was not saved. Toggle out of code view, save, then reload the public page.
  • A blank area where the widget should be can mean the code view editor lost a line. Paste the snippet again in one go without editing it.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

RateMDs Review Widget for Thinkific — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any Thinkific page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the Text & Media section (code view).

Where RateMDs reviews help most on Thinkific

Practitioners who teach on Thinkific, courses for other clinicians, or programmes for patients such as back care or nutrition, can show their RateMDs reviews as proof of their clinical work.

Put the widget on the course sales page next to the instructor bio, and label it clearly as patient reviews of your practice, not reviews of the course. For programmes sold to patients, keep reviews away from any statement about results, so they cannot read as a promise. Keep the widget out of the lesson pages, where students are already enrolled.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on Thinkific — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for Thinkific?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on Thinkific. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Thinkific?
Open the page in Thinkific Site Builder (Design Your Site). Add a Text & Media section where the reviews should appear. In the text editor, click the code view button (</>) and paste the BlooTrue embed code. Toggle back, save, and view the live page — the widget renders there.
Anything specific to Thinkific worth knowing before I embed?
Paste the embed in the section's CODE view (</> button) — pasting into the normal text view escapes the HTML instead of rendering it.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on Thinkific for the biggest lift?
Course landing pages beneath the hero and beside the buy button — real student/customer proof lifts enrollments.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Thinkific again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
