Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to GoDaddy

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the HTML section on GoDaddy and publish.

  1. 1

Open your site in the GoDaddy Websites + Marketing editor.

  2. 2

Add a section and pick HTML (under 'Files & web').

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the Custom Code field.

  4. 4

Publish — the widget renders on the live page.

GoDaddy renders custom HTML on the published site, not in the editor preview — always check the live URL after publishing.

Where the Code Goes on GoDaddy

GoDaddy Websites + Marketing stores the embed code in an HTML section, found under 'Files & web' when you add a section.

Paste the code into the section's Custom Code field. The editor does not render custom HTML, so the section stays a placeholder until you publish; you always check the result on the live URL. The section runs the full width of the page like other GoDaddy sections, and it becomes as tall as the widget makes it. GoDaddy templates place the first custom section directly under the hero, which is where the widget belongs.

If the widget does not show on GoDaddy

  • Nothing in the GoDaddy editor after pasting is expected. Custom HTML renders only on the published site, so publish and open the live URL.
  • If the reviews are missing on the live page, reopen the HTML section and confirm the code sits in the Custom Code field and was saved.
  • Cannot find the HTML section? When adding a section in GoDaddy, look under 'Files & web', not under the text or image groups.

RateMDs Review Widget for GoDaddy — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any GoDaddy page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the HTML section.

Where RateMDs reviews help most on GoDaddy

A practice site on GoDaddy usually has a home page, a page per service, a team page and a booking or contact page.

The RateMDs widget belongs on the booking or contact page beside the form, and on each practitioner's profile on the team page, since patients choose a person as much as a clinic. The home page can carry a compact version under the hero. Some medical regulators limit how testimonials may be used, so confirm what applies to your profession and region before putting reviews on service pages that describe treatments.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on GoDaddy — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for GoDaddy?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on GoDaddy. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on GoDaddy?
Open your site in the GoDaddy Websites + Marketing editor. Add a section and pick HTML (under 'Files & web'). Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the Custom Code field. Publish — the widget renders on the live page.
Anything specific to GoDaddy worth knowing before I embed?
GoDaddy renders custom HTML on the published site, not in the editor preview — always check the live URL after publishing.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on GoDaddy for the biggest lift?
Directly under the hero section of the homepage, where GoDaddy templates put the first custom section.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching GoDaddy again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
