Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to iFrame

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the plain iframe snippet on iFrame and publish.

  1. 1

Copy the iframe variant of your embed code from the BlooTrue embed panel.

  2. 2

Open the HTML of the target page in your editor of choice.

  3. 3

Paste the iframe where the reviews should appear.

  4. 4

Save/deploy the page — the widget renders inside the iframe.

The iframe variant needs no script permissions at all — it works even on platforms that strip script tags.

Where the Code Goes on iFrame

The iframe variant is for any page where you control the raw HTML but cannot run scripts: a legacy CMS that strips script tags, an intranet page, a portal behind a login.

Copy the iframe snippet from the BlooTrue embed panel, open the page source and paste it where the reviews belong. The frame loads the widget from BlooTrue's domain, so the host page needs no script permission, though a strict Content Security Policy must allow that origin in frame-src. An iframe does not size to its content; set width and height yourself, or the reviews get an inner scrollbar.

If the widget does not show on iFrame

  • Blank frame on a site with a strict Content Security Policy: add the BlooTrue origin to frame-src or the browser blocks the iframe.
  • If only part of the reviews shows with an inner scrollbar, the iframe height is fixed too low. Raise the height attribute.
  • When your CMS turns the iframe into an escaped string, paste it in a raw HTML or source view rather than the WYSIWYG editor.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

RateMDs Review Widget for iFrame — Free, No Plugin

Embed RateMDs patient reviews on any iFrame page with a single copy-paste embed code. Patient reviews from RateMDs, on the page where people choose a doctor. Installs via the plain iframe snippet.

Where RateMDs reviews help most on iFrame

A custom site for a clinic group usually has a template per practitioner or per location.

Render the RateMDs widget for that practitioner on their profile page, beside the booking button, so patients read reviews about the person they will actually see. A group-wide widget on every page would mix practitioners and blur that choice. Keep it out of patient portals and intake forms, which are for people already in care. Before launch, check that your regulator permits patient reviews on a practice website, since the rules differ by country and profession.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on iFrame — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for iFrame?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on iFrame. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on iFrame?
Copy the iframe variant of your embed code from the BlooTrue embed panel. Open the HTML of the target page in your editor of choice. Paste the iframe where the reviews should appear. Save/deploy the page — the widget renders inside the iframe.
Anything specific to iFrame worth knowing before I embed?
The iframe variant needs no script permissions at all — it works even on platforms that strip script tags.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on iFrame for the biggest lift?
Anywhere raw HTML works — email-gated portals, legacy CMSes, intranet pages.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching iFrame again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
