Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your RateMDs reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add RateMDs Reviews to Softr

Connect your RateMDs profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Custom Code block (Blocks → Static) on Softr and publish. Custom code requires the Softr Basic plan or above.

  1. 1

Open your app in the Softr Studio.

  2. 2

Add a block: Blocks → Static → Custom code, placed where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block.

  4. 4

Publish — the widget renders on the live app.

Softr's Custom code block is available on the Basic plan and above — free workspaces won't render it.

Where the Code Goes on Softr

In Softr you add the embed through a Custom code block from the Static section of the Studio's block picker.

The block is a full-width section that stacks between your other blocks, and the reviews take that section's width and whatever height they need. The Studio canvas is a working preview of the app, but the published app is where you should confirm the widget, since nothing reaches visitors until you click Publish. Softr blocks can be shown or hidden per user group, so a block placed on a logged-in page follows that page's visibility rules.

If the widget does not show on Softr

  • If the Custom code block renders nothing on your published Softr app, check the workspace plan first; free workspaces do not run custom code blocks.
  • Widget visible in the Studio but not for a visitor? Click Publish, then check the block's visibility settings, which can restrict it to certain user groups.
  • The block picker files Custom code under Static, not under the dynamic list blocks; if you cannot find it, open Blocks, then Static, and scroll.

RateMDs Review Widget for Softr — Free, No Plugin

Where RateMDs reviews help most on Softr

A custom site for a clinic group usually has a template per practitioner or per location.

Render the RateMDs widget for that practitioner on their profile page, beside the booking button, so patients read reviews about the person they will actually see. A group-wide widget on every page would mix practitioners and blur that choice. Keep it out of patient portals and intake forms, which are for people already in care. Before launch, check that your regulator permits patient reviews on a practice website, since the rules differ by country and profession.

About RateMDs reviews in this widget

The RateMDs widget brings the patient reviews from your RateMDs profile onto your practice site, with the rating out of 5 and the review count RateMDs publishes in the header. Patients review doctors there without attaching a name, so the widget shows them unnamed, exactly as the source does. Reviewers score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge separately, and the header figure is the overall average RateMDs itself calculates, never a number worked out from the reviews sitting on your page. Anything RateMDs has hidden never reaches the widget.

RateMDs Widget on Softr — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue RateMDs review widget free for Softr?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed RateMDs patient reviews on Softr. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Softr?
Open your app in the Softr Studio. Add a block: Blocks → Static → Custom code, placed where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block. Publish — the widget renders on the live app. Custom code requires the Softr Basic plan or above.
Anything specific to Softr worth knowing before I embed?
Softr's Custom code block is available on the Basic plan and above — free workspaces won't render it.
Where should I place RateMDs patient reviews on Softr for the biggest lift?
Softr client portals and directories earn trust fast with third-party stars on the landing block, right above the sign-up CTA.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your RateMDs patient reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Softr again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my RateMDs reviews?
The full address of your profile, the one containing /doctor-ratings/ followed by a number and your name. A city or specialty listing page will not work, and neither will your name on its own, because the profile address is what identifies you. Then pick a layout and paste the embed.
Why do the reviews in my widget have no patient names?
Because RateMDs publishes them that way. Patients write about a doctor there without attaching a name, so there is no name for the widget to carry, and inventing one would misrepresent the source. Each card shows the score, the date and what the patient actually wrote.
Will my RateMDs rating show as stars in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. On a paid plan the embed still publishes schema.org markup with your rating and review count, so search engines and AI assistants can read it, but only when the widget renders inline rather than inside a sandboxed iframe, since search engines cannot read what a sandbox hides.
