Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Indeed reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add Indeed Reviews to Showit

Connect your Indeed profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed Code widget on Showit and publish.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Showit design app.

  2. 2

Add an Embed Code widget to the canvas where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the widget settings.

  4. 4

Publish the site — the widget renders on the live page.

Size the Embed Code widget's canvas box to the widget's height per breakpoint — Showit positions are absolute.

Where the Code Goes on Showit

Showit places the snippet in an Embed Code widget on the design canvas, with the code entered in the widget's settings.

The design app shows a box for the widget rather than the reviews; the published site renders them. Showit positions every element absolutely, so the widget only gets the box you draw: set its width and height on the desktop canvas and again on the mobile canvas, allowing enough height for the reviews, or the content spills into whatever sits below. Portfolio and About pages are edited individually, so add the widget to each page before you publish.

If the widget does not show on Showit

  • Reviews overlapping the next canvas on the published site mean the Embed Code widget's box is shorter than the widget; make it taller and republish.
  • If the widget looks right on desktop but is clipped on phones, switch to the mobile canvas in Showit and resize the box there separately.
  • An empty box in the Showit design app is normal for the Embed Code widget; publish the site and check the live page for the reviews.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

Indeed Review Widget for Showit — Free, No Plugin

Embed Indeed reviews on any Showit page with a single copy-paste embed code. Indeed company reviews, on the pages candidates actually read. Installs via the Embed Code widget.

Where Indeed reviews help most on Showit

Companies that build a careers microsite on Showit usually want it to feel like the brand: photos of the team and the office, the values in a sentence each.

Place the Indeed widget after the team and culture section and before the open roles, so candidates read what staff say right before they pick a role. A theme matched to the page and a slider of short reviews keep it in line with the design. On a single-page hiring site, put it just above the application form rather than at the end, where it would come after the decision.

About Indeed reviews in this widget

An Indeed widget shows the company reviews from your Indeed company page, with the rating out of 5 and review count Indeed displays there in the header. Indeed company reviews are written by current and former employees about pay, management and the working day, which makes them a hiring asset rather than a sales one. Site owners go wrong by placing them next to customer testimonials on the homepage, where a review about shift patterns confuses buyers. Put the widget on your job and careers pages instead, where readers are the people Indeed's reviewers are addressing.

Indeed Widget on Showit — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Indeed review widget free for Showit?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Indeed reviews on Showit. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Showit?
Open the page in the Showit design app. Add an Embed Code widget to the canvas where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the widget settings. Publish the site — the widget renders on the live page.
Anything specific to Showit worth knowing before I embed?
Size the Embed Code widget's canvas box to the widget's height per breakpoint — Showit positions are absolute.
Where should I place Indeed reviews on Showit for the biggest lift?
Portfolio and About pages — photographers convert on proof next to the inquiry button.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Indeed reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Showit again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Where is the Indeed URL that the builder asks for?
It is your company page on Indeed, in the form indeed.com/cmp/Your-Company, and the Reviews tab of that page is where employees post. The widget reads the rating and the reviews from that page, so paste the company page address, not a job posting, which carries no reviews of its own.
Will the widget show the same rating as my Indeed company page?
Yes. The header repeats the rating out of 5 and the review count from your Indeed company page as Indeed states them; BlooTrue never recalculates them from the employee reviews it lists. On the free plan the figure is the one captured when the widget was made, so it trails Indeed until you upgrade.
I have several open roles on my site, can the Indeed widget go on every job page?
Yes. The free plan gives you one Indeed widget, but its one-line embed can be pasted into every job page, and views are unlimited, so each page shows the same company rating and employee reviews from Indeed. If you later want the BlooTrue badge gone and daily refresh from Indeed, that is a paid plan.
