How it installs on Notion

  1. 1

Copy your widget's direct link (the embed URL shown in the BlooTrue embed panel).

  2. 2

In Notion, type /embed on the page and choose Embed.

  3. 3

Paste the widget URL and click Embed link.

  4. 4

Resize the embed frame — the reviews render inside it.

Where the code goes on Notion

Notion cannot execute a script tag, so here you skip the HTML snippet and use the widget's direct link from the BlooTrue embed panel. Type /embed on the page, choose Embed, paste the URL and click Embed link. Notion loads the link inside a sandboxed iframe, which shows the rendered reviews right in the editor. The frame does not grow with its content, so drag its edges to set a height that fits the reviews. Because the iframe isolates the widget from the page, nothing from it reaches the host page's DOM, which matters for search markup.

Where reviews earn their place on a Notion site

Portfolio and consulting pages published with Notion Sites — a reviews block above the booking link.

If the widget does not show on Notion

  • If Notion shows the script tag as plain text, you pasted the HTML snippet. Use the widget's direct link with the Embed block instead.
  • Reviews cut off at the bottom means the embed frame is too short. Drag the frame's bottom edge in Notion until every review fits.
  • If visitors see nothing where the reviews should be, the page is not published to the web. Publish the Notion page first.

Notion Review Widgets — FAQ

Is there a free review widget for Notion?
Yes — BlooTrue embeds Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, G2, Capterra, Airbnb, Booking.com or any of 21 review platforms on Notion for free. Embed via /embed → wrap the HTML in a CodePen / JSBin URL. No plugin, no view caps.
Which review platforms can I show on Notion?
21 platforms: Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Angi, Glassdoor, Agoda, BBB, OpenTable, RateMDs, Capterra, G2, Indeed, TrustRadius, Clutch, Expedia, Booking.com, Etsy, Google Play — each with its own Notion install guide. Starter ($9/month) blends its 3 connected platforms into one all-in-one widget, and Pro ($29/month) and higher blend every platform you connect.
Do I need a Notion plugin or app?
No. BlooTrue is a pure HTML embed — one line of code pasted into the Notion editor. Embed via /embed → wrap the HTML in a CodePen / JSBin URL.
Can I embed a live reviews widget in a Notion page?
Yes, with the Embed block. Notion does not execute HTML or script tags, so instead of the code snippet you paste the widget's direct link, which BlooTrue shows in its embed panel. Type /embed, choose Embed, paste the link and click Embed link. Notion renders the reviews inside a resizable frame on the page.
Do embeds work on pages published with Notion Sites?
They do. An Embed block on a Notion Sites page loads the same frame you see in the editor, so a reviews block placed above your booking link renders on the public site. Set the frame height in the editor before publishing, because the public page keeps the size you dragged it to.
Why can't I paste HTML code into Notion?
Notion has no HTML block. Any code pasted into a text block is treated as plain text, and the Code block only displays code without running it. The Embed block is Notion's only way to show external content, and it takes a URL, so the widget is loaded from its own link rather than from a snippet.
