Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to Notion

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed block on Notion and publish.

  1. 1

Copy your widget's direct link (the embed URL shown in the BlooTrue embed panel).

  2. 2

In Notion, type /embed on the page and choose Embed.

  3. 3

Paste the widget URL and click Embed link.

  4. 4

Resize the embed frame — the reviews render inside it.

Notion does not run raw script embeds — use the widget's URL with the Embed block instead of the HTML snippet.

Where the Code Goes on Notion

Notion cannot execute a script tag, so here you skip the HTML snippet and use the widget's direct link from the BlooTrue embed panel.

Type /embed on the page, choose Embed, paste the URL and click Embed link. Notion loads the link inside a sandboxed iframe, which shows the rendered reviews right in the editor. The frame does not grow with its content, so drag its edges to set a height that fits the reviews. Because the iframe isolates the widget from the page, nothing from it reaches the host page's DOM, which matters for search markup.

If the widget does not show on Notion

  • If Notion shows the script tag as plain text, you pasted the HTML snippet. Use the widget's direct link with the Embed block instead.
  • Reviews cut off at the bottom means the embed frame is too short. Drag the frame's bottom edge in Notion until every review fits.
  • If visitors see nothing where the reviews should be, the page is not published to the web. Publish the Notion page first.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on Notion

Companies that build a careers microsite on Notion usually want it to feel like the brand: photos of the team and the office, the values in a sentence each.

Place the Glassdoor widget after the team and culture section and before the open roles, so candidates read what staff say right before they pick a role. A theme matched to the page and a slider of short reviews keep it in line with the design. On a single-page hiring site, put it just above the application form rather than at the end, where it would come after the decision.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on Notion — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for Notion?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on Notion. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Notion?
Copy your widget's direct link (the embed URL shown in the BlooTrue embed panel). In Notion, type /embed on the page and choose Embed. Paste the widget URL and click Embed link. Resize the embed frame — the reviews render inside it.
Anything specific to Notion worth knowing before I embed?
Notion does not run raw script embeds — use the widget's URL with the Embed block instead of the HTML snippet.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on Notion for the biggest lift?
Portfolio and consulting pages published with Notion Sites — a reviews block above the booking link.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Notion again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
