Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to OpenCart

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the theme HTML module on OpenCart and publish.

  1. 1

In the OpenCart admin, open Design → Layouts and pick the target layout.

  2. 2

Add an HTML Content module (Extensions → Modules → HTML Content) with the BlooTrue embed code pasted in.

  3. 3

Assign the module to the layout position.

  4. 4

Save and refresh the storefront — the widget renders in that position.

Paste in the module's source/code view — the WYSIWYG editor can escape script tags.

Where the Code Goes on OpenCart

In OpenCart the embed code goes into an HTML Content module, created under Extensions, Modules, HTML Content, and then assigned to a position in a layout under Design, Layouts.

The module editor is a WYSIWYG field whose visual mode can escape script tags, so switch to the source view before pasting. There is no canvas preview in the admin; you see the reviews only on the storefront after saving. The module takes the width of its assigned position, and assigning it to the home layout's content-bottom position shows it on the homepage only, while a category layout covers category pages.

If the widget does not show on OpenCart

  • If the storefront shows the code as text, you pasted in visual mode; open the module's source view and paste the code there.
  • If the module is saved but not visible, open Design, Layouts and confirm the module is assigned to a position in that layout.
  • If the change is not showing, clear the OpenCart cache from the dashboard; the theme caches rendered output.

Glassdoor Review Widget for OpenCart — Free, No Plugin

Embed Glassdoor reviews on any OpenCart page with a single copy-paste embed code. Show your Glassdoor employer rating on your careers and hiring pages. Installs via the theme HTML module.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on OpenCart

Employer reviews from Glassdoor speak to job seekers, not shoppers, so on your OpenCart store they do not belong on product pages.

The right place is a careers or Work with us page, if the store has one, and the About page, where some visitors look for who is behind the brand. Staff reviews describing a decent employer can support a brand story about how products are made and by whom. Keep them off the cart and checkout completely. If the store has no careers page yet, create one before adding the widget, since that is the page applicants will look for first.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on OpenCart — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for OpenCart?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on OpenCart. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on OpenCart?
In the OpenCart admin, open Design → Layouts and pick the target layout. Add an HTML Content module (Extensions → Modules → HTML Content) with the BlooTrue embed code pasted in. Assign the module to the layout position. Save and refresh the storefront — the widget renders in that position.
Anything specific to OpenCart worth knowing before I embed?
Paste in the module's source/code view — the WYSIWYG editor can escape script tags.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on OpenCart for the biggest lift?
The home layout's content-bottom position and category pages above the footer.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching OpenCart again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
