Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to iFrame

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the plain iframe snippet on iFrame and publish.

  1. 1

Copy the iframe variant of your embed code from the BlooTrue embed panel.

  2. 2

Open the HTML of the target page in your editor of choice.

  3. 3

Paste the iframe where the reviews should appear.

  4. 4

Save/deploy the page — the widget renders inside the iframe.

The iframe variant needs no script permissions at all — it works even on platforms that strip script tags.

Where the Code Goes on iFrame

The iframe variant is for any page where you control the raw HTML but cannot run scripts: a legacy CMS that strips script tags, an intranet page, a portal behind a login.

Copy the iframe snippet from the BlooTrue embed panel, open the page source and paste it where the reviews belong. The frame loads the widget from BlooTrue's domain, so the host page needs no script permission, though a strict Content Security Policy must allow that origin in frame-src. An iframe does not size to its content; set width and height yourself, or the reviews get an inner scrollbar.

If the widget does not show on iFrame

  • Blank frame on a site with a strict Content Security Policy: add the BlooTrue origin to frame-src or the browser blocks the iframe.
  • If only part of the reviews shows with an inner scrollbar, the iframe height is fixed too low. Raise the height attribute.
  • When your CMS turns the iframe into an escaped string, paste it in a raw HTML or source view rather than the WYSIWYG editor.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

Glassdoor Review Widget for iFrame — Free, No Plugin

Embed Glassdoor reviews on any iFrame page with a single copy-paste embed code. Show your Glassdoor employer rating on your careers and hiring pages. Installs via the plain iframe snippet.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on iFrame

A custom careers site or applicant portal usually has two templates: the careers landing page and the job detail page.

Put the Glassdoor widget on the landing page under the introduction, and a compact version on the job detail template beside the Apply button. Leave it off the application steps themselves, which should stay short so candidates finish them. If job pages are generated from an applicant tracking system feed, add the widget to the template once, so every role shows it the moment it is published, and it disappears when the role closes.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on iFrame — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for iFrame?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on iFrame. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on iFrame?
Copy the iframe variant of your embed code from the BlooTrue embed panel. Open the HTML of the target page in your editor of choice. Paste the iframe where the reviews should appear. Save/deploy the page — the widget renders inside the iframe.
Anything specific to iFrame worth knowing before I embed?
The iframe variant needs no script permissions at all — it works even on platforms that strip script tags.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on iFrame for the biggest lift?
Anywhere raw HTML works — email-gated portals, legacy CMSes, intranet pages.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching iFrame again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
