Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to Unbounce

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Custom HTML element on Unbounce and publish. Custom code (Smart Builder) requires an Unbounce plan with custom scripts enabled; Classic Custom HTML is available broadly.

  1. 1

Open your page in the Unbounce Classic builder (or Smart Builder).

  2. 2

In Classic, drag a Custom HTML element onto the page; in Smart Builder add a Custom Code block.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code and confirm.

  4. 4

Save and republish the page — the widget renders on the live variant.

In the Classic builder the Custom HTML element shows as a placeholder box on the canvas — the reviews render in Preview and on the published page.

Where the Code Goes on Unbounce

On Unbounce the code lives in a Custom HTML element in the Classic builder or a Custom Code block in the Smart Builder.

Classic draws the element as a placeholder box on the canvas, so you size the box by dragging its handles and only see the reviews once you open Preview or the published variant. Unbounce serves each A/B variant separately, so paste the element into every variant that should show reviews and republish; a variant you did not edit keeps serving its old markup. Above the CTA is the spot that pays off on paid traffic.

If the widget does not show on Unbounce

  • The Classic canvas shows only a placeholder box for the Custom HTML element. Open Preview or the published variant to see the reviews render.
  • If the widget appears on one variant but not another, you added the element to a single variant. Add it to each variant and republish.
  • Reviews missing after edits usually means the page was saved but not republished. Republish so the live variant picks up the new element.

Glassdoor Review Widget for Unbounce — Free, No Plugin

Embed Glassdoor reviews on any Unbounce page with a single copy-paste embed code. Show your Glassdoor employer rating on your careers and hiring pages. Installs via the Custom HTML element. Custom code (Smart Builder) requires an Unbounce plan with custom scripts enabled; Classic Custom HTML is available broadly.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on Unbounce

Companies use Unbounce for recruitment campaigns: a hiring page for drivers, nurses or warehouse staff, an application form, a sign-up for a hiring day.

That is where Glassdoor reviews belong. Put the widget right under the headline of the role and again beside the application form. Candidates comparing employers read what current and former staff say before applying, and showing it on the page saves them the search. Keep sales funnels free of employer reviews; a buyer reading about shift patterns and managers has landed on the wrong page, and it can cost you the sale.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on Unbounce — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for Unbounce?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on Unbounce. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Unbounce?
Open your page in the Unbounce Classic builder (or Smart Builder). In Classic, drag a Custom HTML element onto the page; in Smart Builder add a Custom Code block. Paste the BlooTrue embed code and confirm. Save and republish the page — the widget renders on the live variant. Custom code (Smart Builder) requires an Unbounce plan with custom scripts enabled; Classic Custom HTML is available broadly.
Anything specific to Unbounce worth knowing before I embed?
In the Classic builder the Custom HTML element shows as a placeholder box on the canvas — the reviews render in Preview and on the published page.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on Unbounce for the biggest lift?
Landing-page hero and directly above the CTA — review stars beside the button reduce click hesitation on paid-traffic pages.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Unbounce again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
