Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to Canva

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed element on Canva and publish.

  1. 1

    Open your Canva website design.

  2. 2

Choose Apps → Embed (or type Embed in the elements search).

  3. 3

Paste the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel.

  4. 4

Publish the website — the reviews render inside the embed.

Canva websites accept URL embeds, not raw HTML — always use the widget URL variant from the embed panel.

Where the Code Goes on Canva

Canva websites take the widget as a URL, not as raw HTML. Choose Apps → Embed, or type Embed in the elements search, and paste the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel instead of the script tag.

Canva shows the embed as a resizable element on the canvas, and you drag it to the height the reviews need, because the frame does not grow on its own. On the published website Canva renders the embed inside an iframe, isolated from the page's own HTML. Place it under the hero block, ahead of pricing.

If the widget does not show on Canva

  • If Canva rejects what you paste, you probably pasted the script tag. Canva's Embed element accepts a URL only, so use the widget's direct URL.
  • Reviews cut off inside the Canva embed? Drag the element taller on the canvas; the iframe does not expand by itself to fit the widget.
  • Changed the URL but the live site still shows the old widget? Canva websites update only when you publish again from the editor.

Still blank? Our help article Widget not showing covers the checks that apply on every site.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on Canva

Companies that build a careers microsite on Canva usually want it to feel like the brand: photos of the team and the office, the values in a sentence each.

Place the Glassdoor widget after the team and culture section and before the open roles, so candidates read what staff say right before they pick a role. A theme matched to the page and a slider of short reviews keep it in line with the design. On a single-page hiring site, put it just above the application form rather than at the end, where it would come after the decision.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on Canva — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for Canva?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on Canva. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Canva?
Open your Canva website design. Choose Apps → Embed (or type Embed in the elements search). Paste the widget's direct URL from the BlooTrue embed panel. Publish the website — the reviews render inside the embed.
Anything specific to Canva worth knowing before I embed?
Canva websites accept URL embeds, not raw HTML — always use the widget URL variant from the embed panel.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on Canva for the biggest lift?
Under the hero block of the one-page site, before pricing.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Canva again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
