Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Glassdoor reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Glassdoor Reviews to BigCommerce

Connect your Glassdoor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the HTML widget on BigCommerce and publish.

  1. 1

Open the page in BigCommerce Page Builder.

  2. 2

Drag the HTML widget from the widget panel into the target region.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the widget's code editor.

  4. 4

    Click Save/Publish — the widget renders storefront-side.

Page Builder shows a placeholder frame for HTML widgets on the canvas — check the published page for the rendered reviews.

Where the Code Goes on BigCommerce

In BigCommerce the embed code goes into the HTML widget in Page Builder, dragged from the widget panel into a region of the page or storefront layout.

On the Page Builder canvas the HTML widget appears as a placeholder frame, so check the rendered reviews on the published storefront. The widget fills the width of its region and grows with the reviews. Regions are defined by your Stencil theme, so which regions accept an HTML widget depends on the theme, and a widget dropped into a global region such as the header or footer shows on every storefront page.

If the widget does not show on BigCommerce

  • If Page Builder shows only a frame, that is normal for HTML widgets; open the storefront to see the rendered reviews.
  • If the region you want is not offered, your Stencil theme defines the available regions; try another region or a Web Page's HTML view.
  • If the storefront still shows the old page, click Publish in Page Builder; saving alone leaves the change unpublished.

Glassdoor Review Widget for BigCommerce — Free, No Plugin

Embed Glassdoor reviews on any BigCommerce page with a single copy-paste embed code. Show your Glassdoor employer rating on your careers and hiring pages. Installs via the HTML widget.

Where Glassdoor reviews help most on BigCommerce

Employer reviews from Glassdoor speak to job seekers, not shoppers, so on your BigCommerce store they do not belong on product pages.

The right place is a careers or Work with us page, if the store has one, and the About page, where some visitors look for who is behind the brand. Staff reviews describing a decent employer can support a brand story about how products are made and by whom. Keep them off the cart and checkout completely. If the store has no careers page yet, create one before adding the widget, since that is the page applicants will look for first.

About Glassdoor reviews in this widget

The Glassdoor widget puts your Glassdoor employer rating and the reviews behind it on your careers and hiring pages, where candidates check before applying. The header is the employer rating out of 5 and review count read from Glassdoor, never worked out from the reviews on show. Those reviews are written by current and former employees, not customers, so the widget shows what working for you is like. Employers get one thing wrong: assuming they need Glassdoor's paid employer products before embedding their rating. You do not; the builder reads your public Glassdoor company page.

Glassdoor Widget on BigCommerce — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Glassdoor review widget free for BigCommerce?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Glassdoor reviews on BigCommerce. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on BigCommerce?
Open the page in BigCommerce Page Builder. Drag the HTML widget from the widget panel into the target region. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the widget's code editor. Click Save/Publish — the widget renders storefront-side.
Anything specific to BigCommerce worth knowing before I embed?
Page Builder shows a placeholder frame for HTML widgets on the canvas — check the published page for the rendered reviews.
Where should I place Glassdoor reviews on BigCommerce for the biggest lift?
Category pages above the product grid and the homepage trust band.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Glassdoor reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching BigCommerce again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
How do I get my Glassdoor employer rating onto the careers page of my own site?
Paste your Glassdoor company profile URL into the BlooTrue builder, choose a layout and copy the one-line embed into the careers page; it takes about a minute and installs nothing. The widget shows the employer rating Glassdoor gives you, out of 5, with employee reviews beneath it, so candidates see it without leaving your site.
Do bad Glassdoor reviews from former employees appear in the widget?
Not on the free plan, which lists only your Glassdoor reviews rated four stars or higher. The header is different: it shows the employer rating Glassdoor calculates from every review, so a 3.6 on Glassdoor reads 3.6 in the widget even though the low-rated reviews are absent from the list.
Someone posted a new Glassdoor review, does my widget change?
Only on paid plans, which re-read your Glassdoor profile once a day and add reviews Glassdoor has published since. A free widget keeps the employee reviews and the employer rating captured when you created it, so a review posted in May stays off a free widget you built in April.
