I cannot say enough good things about my wedding alterations I did here! I previously had a bad experience with a seamstress and had to have the bustle of my dress redone a week before my wedding. Anka was able to fit me in right away and eased all my fears about having to have alterations completed so close to the wedding. She took photos, was upfront about the cost, and got it done very quickly. I loved how the bustle looked. She also did a great job explaining it to me and offered to take a video too so my MOH knew how to do it on wedding day. Thanks to Anka I was so much happier in my dress on my big day. Cannot recommend her enough!

I felt like we got a lot of expertise from Anka and her team. My bustle ended up being a little confusing to construct so the person doing my fitting got Ankas opinion and very quickly she had a solution. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and made the process comfortable. My alterations were perfect held up through the wedding day.

Very kind and efficient. Professional alterations in a timely manner. Needed a pair of dress pant length hemmed for a funeral. In less than a day , my son's pants were perfect. I recommend Anks's to all who care about the small details in alterations. Thanks again for saving the day.

I cannot recommend Anka's Alterations enough! They altered my wedding dress and it turned out perfectly. I asked for large adjustment with the neckline and was extremely worried however, in the end it was exactly what I was looking for. Also, Anka and her team were so pleasant to work with. They took care with the dress itself and were patient throughout the appointments. Thank you Anka's Alterations for making my dream dress come to life!

Highly recommend Anka's Alterations! Anka and her team did such an amazing job altering my wedding dress in October 2025! I really wanted to add a slit but initially was worried it might not be feasible as the dress had layers. Anka and her team made it happen! The added slit, as well as the other alterations, were absolutely perfect. I could not ask for a better experience from start to finish! Highly, highly recommend.

Anka's Alterations came highly recommended to me, but I unfortunately did not have a great experience here and would cautiously advise others with simple dresses to seek a different seamstress. My original wedding dress was a simple fit and flare v-neck sleeveless dress made of crepe (see stock photo). It had no beading or lace, so alterations needed to be perfect otherwise flaws would be noticeable. I have a small chest and needed the bust area taken in. After 4 fittings, my dress was deemed "ready to take home", which I felt pressured to do as the seamstress eagerly remarked that it "looked perfect!" when I tried it on. Upon taking it home, it was clear that the seams on one side were puckering and the bust was asymmetric. I brought the dress back for additional alterations which ultimately led to the bust looking even worse with BOTH edges newly scalloping, yet multiple employees saying that it "looked perfect!". At this point I was 6 weeks out from my wedding, with no trust after 6 fittings that Anka's would ever get it right. I took the dress home just to end the whole ordeal and bought a new dress off the rack. To top it off, alterations cost >$950 and the bust was so poorly tailored that I would feel guilty trying to resell it. It'll likely end up in the trash. I am only giving them additional stars due to the fact that the alterations to the waist and hips were acceptable.
