Google⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bankasia is an absolute hidden gem in Caulfield. The food is outstanding, and the menu is refreshingly simple. You can tell the chefs focus on doing a smaller selection of dishes exceptionally well rather than trying to do everything. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the quality really speaks for itself. Adam deserves a special mention – he completely elevates the atmosphere and makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. We loved our dinner so much that we came back the very next day to visit the lounge. That almost never happens for us, but the food and service were just that good. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

I ordered the Barramundi with sorrel and roast capsicum, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Golden Axe Cider was light, refreshing, and complemented the meal perfectly. We were also served a selection of lovely salads and sides, including a unique potato dish that was a pleasant surprise. To finish, I had the panna cotta with berries, pistachio, and raspberry sauce – simply divine! Smooth, delicate, and full of flavour. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and friendly service. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

My family of three ordered the $40pp set which we enjoyed a shared crispy skin barramundi, and mouth watering tender wagyu rump and lamb shoulder. The price included three sides which were distinctly delicious. Where my rating unfortunately falls short is the ambience. We were greeted with a playlist of techno pop and cover songs which felt considerably unsuited and the lighting could have been softer. The quality and price point for this restaurant is truly a no brainer. We definitely be returning.

GoogleTried the steak special at Banksia and it was definitely worth it. $40 all weekend for a quality steak plus fried gippy gold potatoes is such a good deal. The steak was cooked really well, tender, and full of flavour. Portion size was satisfying too. Great value considering the quality of the food and overall experience. Would happily come back for it again.
