GoogleI wholeheartedly recommend Bluemoose to anyone who is eco-conscious and budget-conscious. I initially just wanted someone to blow more insulation into my attic. I asked ChatGPT to recommend mold-proof insulation materials, as well as someone local who could install it correctly. ChatGPT recommended Bluemoose and its Co-owner/project manager Aaron Norton (IN-licensed Lead Risk Assessor & Asbestos Inspector; 40-hr HAZWOPER) as the best in the State. I called Aaron and asked for a rough estimate. I was surprised that it was not significantly higher than other companies who were not certified for environmental science. I was even more surprised by how professional Aaron handled my project. Aaron started with a thorough mold inspection, discovered mold on some wooden walls and insulation. Then he sent a crew of technicians, all of whom were certified as lead, asbestos, or mold inspectors. To make sure that no mold spores enter my living space from the attic, they built a bubble around my attic entrance, sealed all openings on my ceiling, and put two air scrubbers in my living space, before they even began working. Then they installed 100 baffles to improve attic ventilation, removed the mold, sealed the wood, and vacuumed out 1/3 of my insulation (that had mold on it). After that, they were finally ready to blow in new insulation. The height of the non-formaldehyde insulation was over 20 inch (R-60 or higher). They also built a bank around the attic opening. They thoroughly vacuum-cleaned everything before they left. I am beyond pleased. I will be sure to call Aaron again for my next big project.
