My wife and I spent shabbos at Chabad of the Canadian Rockies while in Banff area in early July, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin welcomed us with incredible warmth and hospitality, making us feel like we were spending Shabbos at home with family. The food, atmosphere, and sense of community were all exceptional.
If you’re visiting the Banff/Canmore area, this is a must. Our only complaint? Shabbos ended at 11:07 PM… but we’re pretty sure they don’t control that. 🤣
Chabad of the Canadian Rockies was so welcoming; lent out their bear spray for use during a week of hiking in Banff. Wonderful Shabbat company and food as well 💕
What an incredible way to spend Shabbat!! The services were engaging and the meals were beyond delicious. The Pinson family is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to spend Shabbat with such genuine people.
Excellent experience doing shabbat with Rabbi Dovid and Devorah at Chabad. We enjoyed both dinner and lunch along with custom-made meat wraps for seudah shlishit in the evening. Also a special tour around Canmore in the afternoon. Very special couple and family providing great food and even better Torah for am Yisrael. Very warm and hospitable, one of the best shabbat experiences we’ve had. May they continue to be blessed in all they are doing. Highly recommend!!!

We can't say enough about the Shabbos that we spent with Chabad of the Canadian Rockies and Rabbi and Rebbetzin Pinson. They are the warmest people and they gave us such a memorable time. It was an amazing blend of ruchniess and gashmius; the food was delicious and plentiful, the davening was beautiful, and the seudos were special in every way. If Banff wasn't a destination enough, then this Chabad certainly is!

We came to lake Louise with comfort knowing we have some kosher food to fall back on. Little did know what a smashing success and wonderful people the Rabbi and his wife! The took care of our food better then our best experiences, and we’ve had a lot. Aside the food is the best home made tasting, the vastness, flavors, having the food packaged properly for kosher and ambience- we simply couldn’t get enough. We even ordered extra to take home. It’s a 12 out of 10
