Breakfasts were the same (eggs, pancakes, jam, yogurt, banana, butter, cheese, mini baguette, tea or coffee) each morning. I was here on three different occasions, over five nights, and breakfasts became smaller over time (no banana, no jam, no cheese) when nearing the end of the touristic season. The first morning I was there, breakfast was nearly one hour late. The front desk people went looking for the cook. It was on time after that.||There were so many issues with my room but nearly all of them were ignored except the broken lock on my room door.||The toilet leaked and never filled up unless I wiggled the mechanism inside the tank. | |I literally got rained on one night, there was a leak from the ceiling onto the head of bed. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they didn’t appear to be interested. The cleaning ladies just came by to wipe the wet floor and left. No one came to inspect where the leak came from. I just moved the bed to another part of the room so I wouldn’t be affected again. ||The door key stopped working and it had to be changed, then the door handle stopped working when I was trying to get out. I almost got locked in for a while.||If your room is near the entrance of the hotel, it will smell like cigarette smoke as many people smoke right by the front door. You therefore must keep your patio doors closed if you don’t like smoke and can't enjoy a breeze. ||It took three people arguing for 20 minutes to check me out and all I had to pay for were two breakfasts and one soup. They charged me too much for the soup and argued with me about the pricing listed in plain black and white on the menu in the room which didn’t have the same prices as the one in the restaurant.||If you use more than the one bottle of boiled water in your room per day, you must pay for it. ||There was lots of water for showers on the first day but very cold even though it was a sunny day (they say it’s heated via solar); some water the next day but lukewarm, no water at all the third, fourth, and fifth days. ||The internet is a joke, and you can only join one of your devices to it. One password, one device.||My tour operator said the hotel could provide exchange of Euros or US dollars to the local currency. They wouldn’t do it at all when I asked. False advertising on the part of the hotel.||Not all staff is fluent in either French or English, but I had better luck with French than English.||The swimming pool’s water is brownish and cloudy – not very inviting. There were also a lot of mosquitoes nearby. I didn't encounter them later on during my tour.||The hotel was built with a lot of beautiful palisander wood (akin to rosewood, a very rare and expensive wood today) and thankfully they are preserving that but overall, the place is falling apart a bit at a time. ||Vendors appear at the entrance of the hotel, harassing you by trying to sell you t-shirts, sculptures, etc. ||Overall, I would say that the only advantages of staying at this hotel are its proximity to the airport, that they offer a shuttle service to it (for an extra fee of course), and that the rooms are very large with several seating areas.

Die Zimmer sind ok. Leider ist es sehr laut im Hotel, besonders für die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ist das unglücklich. WLAN gibt es nur in den öffentlichen Bereichen, nicht im Zimmer. Das Essen ist schlecht. Wir hatten zudem Haare im Essen. Der Service ist auch schlecht. Es liegt nah zum Flughafen. Die Innenstadt ist weit entfernt.
