Working with Cesar Morfin has been a life changing experience. I met Cesar at a point in my life where I felt that I was not happy but I didn’t realize why. As I was trying to find myself while preparing to compete for the Miss Arizona Latina pageant a few months back, I had the privilege of working with Cesar. As a first generation college student who now works as a certified minor league athletic trainer in baseball I struggled with knowing who I was and not feeling worthy of occupying space in my field. Cesar helped me find my sense of self-worth and be proud of all of my accomplishments thus far. Without his help I honestly do not believe I would’ve been in the right state of mind to compete or actually win the Miss Arizona Latina 2023 pageant! He guided me and pushed me to believe in myself and show the world what it is I have to offer. Ultimately me winning this pageant was a victory for Cesar as well. Thank you Cesar for all the work that you do and for using an individualized approach to helping others!
