GoogleI visited this store with my cousin, who is preparing for her wedding to her Indian fiancé. We were genuinely excited to find a dress for her Mehendi celebration and to immerse ourselves in and embrace Indian culture, as we are of Filipino heritage. Unfortunately, our experience at this store today was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the customer service felt cold and unwelcoming. We did not feel valued as customers. We were told we were not allowed to try on any outfits, which made it very difficult to seriously consider purchasing — especially for such an important cultural event where fit and comfort matter so much. We were also told we could not take photos and were directed to look at the website instead, which felt dismissive given that we were physically in the store wanting to make a decision. At one point, payment plan options were brought up in a way that felt presumptive — as though it was assumed we could not afford to pay upfront. This was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Additionally, when I mentioned that I had visited previously, I was told they did not remember me, which added to the overall feeling of being unimportant as a customer. I also can’t help but mention that as non-Indian customers, we felt a noticeable lack of warmth compared to my previous experience visiting this same store with indian colleagues. Whether intentional or not, it made the experience feel even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a welcoming or enjoyable shopping experience, which is disappointing when preparing for such a special and meaningful occasion.
