Abi helped me when my baby was just 9 days old and I was ready to quit breastfeeding. We only had a short session where she observed a feed and advised me of small tweaks which made all the difference and we’re now 9 weeks in and he is exclusively breastfed and feeds beautifully! She also discovered a tongue tie that the hospital, midwives and health visitors missed, which I’m now able to get fixed. Thank you Abi!

I would highly recommend Abi for anyone who is planning to breastfeed. She was incredibly supportive, kind, and reassuring during a time that felt quite overwhelming. Her advice was always practical, pragmatic and tailored to our specific situation. She quickly identified our baby had a tongue tie and when the issue wasn’t resolved she gave us the confidence we needed to go back to the hospital. Abigail is extremely professional, caring and warm. We were really struggling with latch and supply issues and Abigail managed to come out to us the same day when I really needed some immediate help. She has kept in touch with us and has provided invaluable consistent help and now we seem to be turning a corner with breastfeeding. I also really enjoyed her session at Mother Zen in Ramsbottom on a Tuesday afternoon where I was able to get more help alongside meeting other new mums in the area. Highly recommend her wealth of experience, do not hesitate to reach out to her if you feel like you also need some help!

I honestly can’t recommend Gentle Latch enough. When I was just a few days postpartum I was really struggling with breastfeeding. It had become very painful and I was close to giving up. She came to my home and spent time with me showing me how to position and latch my baby properly, explaining everything so patiently and kindly. Being able to do it in my own home with my baby made such a difference and immediately helped ease the pain and gave me so much more confidence. What amazed me the most is how supportive she has been even after the visit. She has answered my messages whenever I’ve had questions or worries, even late at night, and has always been so reassuring and encouraging. She is such a lovely, caring person and truly passionate about helping mums. Thanks to her support I’ve been able to continue breastfeeding when I really thought I couldn’t. I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for me and my baby. 💕
