What Review Widgets Cost in 2026: 11 Tools, Every Price Dated

·9 min read·By Mike Ragimov
Bills, receipts and a calculator on a desk

A review widget looks like a small purchase until the second invoice. The headline price is rarely what decides the cost: what the vendor meters is. Some count every page load, some count review sources, some count widgets and some count business locations. This is what eleven tools charge, taken from their own pricing pages, with the date attached so you can tell when it is out of date. We make one of the eleven, BlooTrue, so every vendor is linked: check us.

Eleven tools, side by side

Every figure below was read off the vendor's own pricing page on October 21, 2026. Prices are in US dollars. "View cap" is the monthly limit on the cheapest paid plan, not the free one.

Elfsight sells each widget type as its own app, so a Google reviews widget and an all-in-one reviews widget are two subscriptions; the all-in-one app costs twice as much at every tier. Featurable shows Google reviews only. Tagembed and Taggbox run the same price grid under two brands.

What you actually pay for: the meter

Two tools at the same monthly price can end up costing very different amounts, because they grow on different axes. Before comparing headline prices, work out which meter you will hit first.

  • Views (Elfsight, EmbedSocial, Tagembed, Taggbox, Trustmary). Every time the widget loads, it counts. A footer widget on a site with 3,000 visits a month and 2.5 pages per visit uses about 7,500 views, which is past the 5,000 on Elfsight Basic, EmbedSocial Pro and Trustmary Starter. Traffic growth pushes you up the ladder.
  • Sources (SociableKIT, EmbedSocial). Each review profile you connect counts: Google is one, Facebook another, each extra location another. SociableKIT adds $5 a month per extra source.
  • Widgets (Common Ninja, and Elfsight on top of views). Cheap for one widget, and the price climbs with each widget you add: five Common Ninja widgets cost $13 to $26 a month.
  • Locations or companies (BlooTrue, Featurable, Trustindex). You pay for how many businesses or locations you show, and traffic does not change the bill.

The full story on free-plan view limits is in which free review widgets cap your views, and what it costs to blend three platforms into one widget is worked out in review widgets that combine several platforms.

What happens when a paid plan hits its view cap

This is the clause to read before you pay, because the behaviour differs and it shows up on the page you care about most, at the moment traffic is highest.

  • Elfsight states that exceeding the monthly limit will temporarily deactivate the app.
  • EmbedSocial states that widgets stop showing until the monthly reset.
  • Taggbox states that a free widget past 300 views stays live with cached content and an upgrade bar. Neither Taggbox nor Tagembed states what happens on a paid plan.
  • Trustmary answers both ways on the same page: one FAQ says the widget is hidden until the limit resets, another says widgets keep showing. Ask them in writing.

BlooTrue, Trustindex, SociableKIT, Featurable, Shapo and Common Ninja state no view cap on their paid plans.

Billing rules that change the real price

  • Yearly only: Trustindex bills every plan yearly and renews automatically. Elfsight's pricing pages show yearly prices only.
  • Monthly only: Tagembed and Taggbox Starter ($19) is billed monthly; the yearly discount starts on Growth ($29 a month billed yearly).
  • Add-ons: Trustmary prices branding removal ($19 a month) and 3 more review connections ($10 a month) separately, both billed yearly.
  • Per extra unit: SociableKIT adds $5 a month per review source; BlooTrue adds $5 a month per extra location on Starter, $4 on Pro and $3 on Business.
  • Refunds: Elfsight offers a 14-day refund, SociableKIT 14 days, Trustindex 30 days. Tagembed states no refunds on monthly plans.

Free plans and trials

All eleven tools have a free plan, so you can try each one before paying. Two trials of paid features ask for a card: EmbedSocial verifies a card for its 7-day trial, and Shapo charges $1 for 7 days and then rolls into $29 a month. Trustindex gives 7 days of paid features without a card. SociableKIT gives a 7-day premium trial and drops you back to free. Featurable advertises a 14-day trial; Common Ninja a 3-day risk-free trial. Tagembed and Taggbox state no trial. BlooTrue's free plan needs no card.

Which to pick

If you need one widget and the lowest possible bill, Common Ninja and Trustindex are cheaper than anything else here; check that the features you need are on the plan you pick, and that you are comfortable paying Trustindex a year at a time. If all your reviews are on Google, Featurable is built for exactly that. If your traffic is growing, avoid plans that meter views, or budget for the next tier. If you want reviews from several platforms blended in one widget, billed monthly, with no view cap, that is what BlooTrue Starter does for $9 a month. If you are moving off Elfsight because of its cap, see the free Elfsight alternatives.

How we read the prices

Each vendor's own pricing page was read on October 21, 2026, not a roundup. Pages built with JavaScript (SociableKIT, Common Ninja, Trustmary) were opened in a browser or read from the page's own data. Where a page is silent or says two things, we wrote that down instead of guessing:

  • Trustindex does not publish its free-package limits or say whether paid plans remove branding, and its FAQ and plan card disagree on how many websites Pro covers.
  • Elfsight's All-in-One FAQ says there is no trial and that the free plan covers one site, while the plan cards say "Try for free" and "Unlimited websites".
  • Shapo mentions a yearly plan with 2 months free but shows no yearly price.
  • Common Ninja showed a 30% discount banner on annual plans, so its yearly figures may include it.

Prices change. If you spot one that has moved, tell us at the contact page and we will re-read it.
