Today a friend of mine recommended me this restaurant and omg the food I had was the best in a while so I had Curry goat with rice and peas 1 portion of jerk chicken on its own salt fish and callaloo with dumplings on its own. I will definitely coming back here very soon!

My mum and I came for a late lunch and we were so happy with the food and the way we were treated! We were served by this lovely woman, sadly, we think she was the only one working that day so the service was a little slow and forgetful but we didn’t mind. It was understandable ☺️ the way she treated us made up for it which we really appreciate! Now the food! Omg, it was AMAZING! We are definitely coming back with our family! It was my first time trying dumplings and I’m so glad they were boiled 🥹it was so delicious! I need to go back! We ordered the: Steamed Escovitch fish 🐠 with hard food (boiled dumplings, yam, potato and green bananas) 🍠 🍌 Steamed veg 🥬🥕🫛 Rice and oxtail 🍚 with mixed veg 🥗 A mixed fruit drink and a mango and carrot drink 🍹 Everything was to die for !! We were so shocked with the final price too! Such lovely people 💕 We will see you again soon! Everyone go hereeee!

Great food and great atmosphere. I particularly liked the ackee and saltfish with a side of festivals. Mai mai and aunty Sophia were great hosts! Will definely return!

Stacy was a lovely host from start to finish and the food was 11 out of 10. Lovely family atmosphere and first class service! Highly recommend.

This doesn’t feel good writing this but we had a dreadful experience here. I’ll start with the positives as they have potential. The restaurant interior & exterior looks good, has a nice little vibe in there. The food was decent, some items better than others. I got the love combo & it was nice, it came with jerk chicken, oxtail & a variety of sides. The jerk chicken was meh, no smoky flavour. The oxtail was nice. Now onto the negatives, I was there for my cousins 21st birthday with a large party - we preordered our food a few days prior as instructed by the restaurant. The whole party arrived between 6-7pm. Firstly you have to go to the bar to order drinks, which is just not convenient. The lady who is waiting on you & bringing the food from the kitchen is also serving the drinks, she’s severely run off her feet - not entirely sure what the manager was there for. We didn’t eat until around 8:30, with everyone receiving their food at staggered times.. some people getting their food after 9pm and kids being served toward the end after repeatedly asking for them to be prioritised. It was chaotic. To add insult to injury, they also dropped the cake we brought for the birthday & lost some candles (they did try to rectify by buying a high street cake) but coupled with everything it was just sloppy. They also were playing the music at different volumes randomly & a lot of afrobeats for a Jamaican restaurant. Overall, a terrible experience with extremely poor service. I’ve never seen anything like it tbh, it’s like they opened for the first time that night with no training. I also observed another table leave without food due to how long they were waiting. Maybe it was a bad night but I wouldn’t risk coming here for an occasion or if you enjoy good service. I hope they can learn from their mistakes & do better because like I said, they have potential. Perhaps more staff & better training & some proper controls & practices in place. I won’t be there to experience it but hopefully future restaurant goers can have a better experience.
