We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Varo, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. After a long day of travelling, we were welcomed with thoughtful snacks, drinks, and all the essentials to get our holiday started without having to rush straight out to the shops. It was such a lovely touch. The villa itself is exceptional, and it’s clear that every detail has been carefully considered. It has absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing family holiday. We have a little boy with additional needs, and he has never been more relaxed on a holiday. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning was fantastic during the hot summer days, and the pool was perfect. Although it looks smaller in the photos, it’s actually a great size for a family to enjoy, and we spent hours dipping in and out throughout the day. The sunbathing area is beautifully designed and feels really luxurious—we honestly couldn’t have asked for better. The rooftop terrace is another fantastic feature, with a lovely breeze and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen that’s perfect for cooking, dining, and enjoying evening cocktails. The villa is the perfect size, and we were so impressed with the well-equipped kitchen and all the thoughtful extras, including books and board games. Even the little details, from the quality cutlery and kitchen utensils to the beautiful wine glasses, made our stay feel extra special. We enjoyed every second of our time at Villa Varo and will most definitely be returning. A few tips for future guests: I’d definitely recommend hiring a car, as there are so many beautiful places to explore nearby. We enjoyed eating both locally and in Los Alcázares on most evenings. You can also order from Glovo for delivery straight to the villa, which is incredibly convenient. There are supermarkets within walking distance, and the local bar, The Whiskeria, is well worth a visit. Fantastic hosts, a superb villa, and an easy 10/10. We’ll definitely be recommending Villa Varo to family and friends!
