Where the code goes on Carrd

Carrd stores the snippet in an Embed element with its Type set to Code, added to the one-pager like any other element. The editor never renders embeds, so the element appears as a labelled box while you edit and the reviews show up only after you publish. Width follows the element's column, and height follows the widget on the published page. Carrd can also inject an Embed element's code into the page head or body instead of displaying it inline, so keep it inline and the reviews stay where you placed them, ideally just above the contact form.

If the widget does not show on Carrd

The Carrd editor shows the Embed element as a box with no reviews. That is normal; publish and check the live one-pager.
If the Embed element is missing from the add menu, your Carrd plan is below Pro Standard. Upgrade the Carrd plan to unlock it.
Reviews not inline although the page loads fine: the embed's placement is set to the head or body. Switch it back to inline.
