Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Etsy reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add Etsy Reviews to Carrd

Connect your Etsy profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed element on Carrd and publish. Embed elements require Carrd Pro Standard or higher.

  1. 1

Open your Carrd site in the editor.

  2. 2

Add an Embed element where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Set Type to Code and paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Save and publish — the widget renders on the live one-pager.

Embed elements only render on the published site, never inside the Carrd editor.

Where the Code Goes on Carrd

Carrd stores the snippet in an Embed element with its Type set to Code, added to the one-pager like any other element.

The editor never renders embeds, so the element appears as a labelled box while you edit and the reviews show up only after you publish. Width follows the element's column, and height follows the widget on the published page. Carrd can also inject an Embed element's code into the page head or body instead of displaying it inline, so keep it inline and the reviews stay where you placed them, ideally just above the contact form.

If the widget does not show on Carrd

  • The Carrd editor shows the Embed element as a box with no reviews. That is normal; publish and check the live one-pager.
  • If the Embed element is missing from the add menu, your Carrd plan is below Pro Standard. Upgrade the Carrd plan to unlock it.
  • Reviews not inline although the page loads fine: the embed's placement is set to the head or body. Switch it back to inline.

Where Etsy reviews help most on Carrd

Product brands on Carrd tend to launch with one polished page: a product story, big images, a buy or pre-order button.

The Etsy widget fits as one band after the story and before the button, where the visitor has seen what it is and now wants to know whether buyers were happy. A compact carousel or a single-row badge keeps the design intact. If it is a waitlist or pre-launch page with no sales yet, the reviews shown are for your earlier products or your shop on Etsy; say so in a short line above the widget, so nobody reads them as reviews of the new product.

About Etsy reviews in this widget

The Etsy widget shows reviews buyers left for your Etsy shop, with the shop's star rating and total review count from Etsy in the header. Every Etsy review is tied to an order, because Etsy only opens the review form to the buyer of that order. Reviews are left on individual listings and roll up into the shop rating, and the widget can show both kinds. Sellers who also sell from their own site expect the widget to merge reviews from both shops. It shows only what buyers posted on Etsy; orders placed elsewhere never reach it.

Etsy Widget on Carrd — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Etsy review widget free for Carrd?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Etsy reviews on Carrd. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Carrd?
Open your Carrd site in the editor. Add an Embed element where the reviews should appear. Set Type to Code and paste the BlooTrue embed code. Save and publish — the widget renders on the live one-pager. Embed elements require Carrd Pro Standard or higher.
Anything specific to Carrd worth knowing before I embed?
Embed elements only render on the published site, never inside the Carrd editor.
Where should I place Etsy reviews on Carrd for the biggest lift?
Directly above the contact form on the one-pager — last proof before the ask.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Etsy reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Carrd again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Can customers who bought from my own site leave a review that shows in the Etsy widget?
No. An Etsy review can only be written by the Etsy buyer of an Etsy order, after the estimated delivery date and within 100 days of it. The widget shows those reviews and nothing else, so an order placed on your own site never appears in it, however pleased the customer was.
Do I paste my Etsy shop link or a listing link into BlooTrue?
Your shop link, in the form etsy.com/shop/YourShopName. The shop page carries the star rating and the full review count, and reviews from every listing feed into it, so the widget has your whole shop to draw on. Then choose a layout and copy the one-line embed onto your storefront or product pages.
My shop picked up three new Etsy reviews this week, why does the widget still show the old ones?
Because the free plan does not refresh. A free Etsy widget holds the reviews that were on your shop when you created it, and later ones stay on Etsy. Paid plans re-read your shop every day and add reviews buyers have posted since, so a review left on Monday is usually on your site by Tuesday.
