Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Capterra reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Capterra Reviews to Webflow

Connect your Capterra profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Embed element on Webflow and publish. Publishing custom-code embeds to a custom domain requires a paid Webflow site plan.

  1. 1

Open the project in the Webflow Designer.

  2. 2

Drag an Embed element from Add panel → Components into the layout.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code and save & close.

  4. 4

Publish — the widget renders on the published site.

The Designer canvas shows a placeholder for custom embeds — use the published site (or preview) to judge the final layout.

Where the Code Goes on Webflow

Webflow takes the snippet in an Embed element dragged from the Add panel's Components group; paste into the code window and click Save & Close.

On the Designer canvas the element shows a custom-code placeholder, so use the published site to judge layout. The Embed is a normal block element: set its width, margins and position with the Style panel, and the reviews determine its height on the published page. Each Embed is limited to 10,000 characters, which the one-line snippet fits easily, and it can sit in a Collection page template so every CMS page gets it.

If the widget does not show on Webflow

  • The Designer canvas never renders the Embed; if you only see the custom-code placeholder, publish and open the live URL before changing anything.
  • If the widget does not appear on your custom domain, check the site plan: publishing custom-code Embeds to a custom domain needs a paid Webflow site plan.
  • Reviews overlapping the next section usually means a fixed height was set on the Embed in the Style panel; clear it and let the content size it.

Capterra Review Widget for Webflow — Free, No Plugin

Embed Capterra reviews on any Webflow page with a single copy-paste embed code. Capterra software reviews, embedded where buyers compare and decide. Installs via the Embed element. Publishing custom-code embeds to a custom domain requires a paid Webflow site plan.

Where Capterra reviews help most on Webflow

SaaS teams building on Webflow usually care about the site looking sharp: dark themes, precise spacing, product screenshots.

The Capterra widget should follow that, with its theme and accent colour matched to the page, placed as a band after the screenshots or the feature grid and before the pricing or sign-up section. A marquee or slider of short reviews reads well next to a row of customer logos. On a one-page launch site, one placement is enough. Keep it out of the hero, which on these sites belongs to the product itself and to the one sign-up button.

About Capterra reviews in this widget

The Capterra widget brings the reviews from your Capterra product listing to your pages, with the rating out of 5 and review count Capterra publishes in the header. Software buyers use Capterra, a Gartner company, to build shortlists, so put the widget on the pages where they compare you. Capterra checks each review before publishing it. What site owners get wrong is reading the header as an average of the reviews on the page. It is Capterra's own figure and counts every review, including lower-rated ones a free widget leaves out.

Capterra Widget on Webflow — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Capterra review widget free for Webflow?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Capterra reviews on Webflow. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Webflow?
Open the project in the Webflow Designer. Drag an Embed element from Add panel → Components into the layout. Paste the BlooTrue embed code and save & close. Publish — the widget renders on the published site. Publishing custom-code embeds to a custom domain requires a paid Webflow site plan.
Anything specific to Webflow worth knowing before I embed?
The Designer canvas shows a placeholder for custom embeds — use the published site (or preview) to judge the final layout.
Where should I place Capterra reviews on Webflow for the biggest lift?
A dedicated 'Wall of love' section — Webflow marketing sites convert best with reviews above the pricing anchor.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Capterra reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Webflow again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
What do I paste into the builder to pull my Capterra reviews?
The address of your product listing on Capterra, which takes the form capterra.com/p/ followed by a number and your product name. The builder reads the rating, review count and reviews from that listing. Pick a layout, copy the one-line embed and paste it into your comparison page; the whole thing takes about a minute.
I already display a Capterra badge, why would I add a widget?
Because the badge is an image. It shows no review content, none of the words reviewers wrote about your software, and no count of how many wrote them. The widget lists the reviews from your Capterra listing, so a buyer on your comparison page reads what other buyers said without leaving for Capterra.
Will my Capterra rating appear as stars under my page in Google search results?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. Paid plans still add schema.org Review and AggregateRating markup as JSON-LD carrying your Capterra rating and review count, which search engines and AI assistants can read when the embed renders inline on your page; if the embed sits in a sandboxed iframe, they never see it.
