Yelp Review Widget for Drupal — Free, Fills Yelp's Embed Gap
BlooTrue's Yelp Review Widget for Drupal is a free, module-free embed that displays your Yelp reviews on any Drupal site. Yelp does not provide an official embed widget for merchants — its Fusion API is gated for partner apps. BlooTrue fills that gap by pulling reviews from any public Yelp business page and turning them into a paste-ready Drupal embed. Works on Drupal 7, Drupal 8, Drupal 9, Drupal 10, and Drupal 11 via the built-in Custom Block + Full HTML text format. No drupal.org module install, no Composer dependency, no Yelp API key required.
How to embed Yelp reviews on Drupal in 60 seconds
- Paste your Yelp business URL (yelp.com/biz/your-business-slug) into the configurator above.
- Pick a widget style and customize colors, theme, and layout.
- Click Copy Code to get the one-line HTML embed.
- Go to Structure → Block layout → Custom block library, click + Add custom block, switch the Body field Text format to Full HTML, click the Source button, and paste.
- Save and place the block in your chosen region.
- For inline node placement: edit the node, switch the body field to Full HTML, click Source, and paste.
Why doesn't Yelp have an official embed?
Yelp's Fusion API is positioned as a partner-channel product (used by sites like Apple Maps and Trivago) rather than as a merchant self-service product. Yelp does not publish a paste-ready embed widget the way Trustpilot publishes TrustBox or Google publishes Place Cards. Third-party widgets are the standard way Drupal sites surface their Yelp reviews on their own pages — BlooTrue is the free option in that category.
