The block editor shows the raw code while you edit, and its Preview tab can show the rendered widget. The block spans your theme's content width, and the height is whatever the widget renders. For per-product placement on a block theme, edit the single product template in the Site Editor, not the product's short description, which escapes scripts. Caching and security plugins can delay or strip scripts.

If the widget does not show on WooCommerce

  • Script printed as text on the product page? You pasted into the short description, which escapes scripts. Use a Custom HTML block in the product template.
  • Widget not updating after you click Update? Purge your WordPress caching plugin, which can keep serving the old page markup to visitors.
  • Some WordPress security plugins block external scripts; check the plugin's settings if the widget never loads on your WooCommerce store, then reload.
