What makes a Yelp widget different from a Google review widget?

Where the reviews and the Yelp rating come from

The star rating and review count in the widget header come from Yelp, exactly as Yelp publishes them for your listing. They are never averaged from the cards on your page. The cards are reviews from your public Yelp page, each credited to Yelp and linked back to your yelp.com/biz page. Yelp's own options are narrower. The Embed review button on yelp.com puts one recommended review on your site at a time, and it is only on the desktop site. Yelp's software sorts every review automatically. Yelp says about three quarters of reviews are recommended.
