Yelp Review Widget for HubSpot — Free, the Only Free Path

BlooTrue's Yelp Review Widget for HubSpot is a free embed that displays your Yelp reviews on any HubSpot page — CMS Hub website pages (including the free CMS tier), Marketing Hub landing pages, and blog templates. There's a double gap to bridge: Yelp does not publish an official embed widget for merchants (its Fusion API is gated for partner apps like Apple Maps and Trivago), and HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party Yelp reviews module. BlooTrue fills both gaps with a snippet that drops into the standard HubSpot Embed module (or Custom HTML module): edit the page, drag the module from the left panel into the layout, paste, Publish. No HubL, no theme code, no developer ticket — the marketing team ships Yelp social proof on its own. 100+ widget styles, light and dark themes, free custom color picker. SEO rich snippets — schema.org Review + AggregateRating JSON-LD — injected automatically.

How to embed Yelp reviews on HubSpot in 60 seconds

  1. Paste your Yelp business URL (yelp.com/biz/your-business-slug) into the BlooTrue builder that opens when you pick a style below.
  2. Pick a widget style and customize colors, theme, and layout.
  3. Publish, then copy the one-line HTML embed code from the builder.
  4. In HubSpot: Marketing → Website → Website Pages (or Landing Pages), then Edit the page.
  5. Drag an Embed module (or Custom HTML) from the left panel into the layout, paste the snippet.
  6. Click Publish. For blog-wide reviews, add the same module to your blog template.

Why doesn't Yelp have an official embed?

Yelp's Fusion API is positioned as a partner-channel product (used by sites like Apple Maps and Trivago) rather than as a merchant self-service product. Yelp does not publish a paste-ready embed widget the way Google publishes Place Cards. On the HubSpot side the gap is the same — the marketplace has no first-party Yelp reviews module. Third-party widgets like BlooTrue are the canonical way to surface Yelp reviews on a HubSpot page, and because the install is a drag-and-drop module, a marketing team can do it without engineering.

Get golden stars in Google search results

On paid plans, every BlooTrue widget injects schema.org Review + AggregateRating JSON-LD straight into your page — so Google and AI answer engines can read your ratings and reviews as structured data, and your pages become eligible for star-rating rich snippets. (Google treats a business's own reviews on its own site as "self-serving" and doesn't guarantee stars for them — product/service reviews are the most reliably eligible; either way your reviews become machine-readable for search and AI.)

Your Business — Trusted by 500+ Happy Customers

See what 127 verified customers are saying — read real Google reviews, ratings, and detailed feedback about our services, pricing, and team.

4.9
(127)
This is what your customers see when they Google you — powered by BlooTrue's JSON-LD.
  • Zero config — it just works

    The moment you embed a BlooTrue widget, JSON-LD markup is injected automatically. No extra tags, no developer time.

  • Google Rich Results valid

    Every field follows Google's current structured-data guidelines — LocalBusiness, AggregateRating, and Review — so it passes the Rich Results Test out of the box.

  • Standalone schema endpoint Paid plans

    For star ratings to appear under your parent page's blue link in Google, search engines need the schema on the parent page itself — iframe-embedded schema is not propagated to the host page. Paid plans expose a JSON-LD endpoint per widget that you drop into your<head>for SERP rich snippets on product, landing, or legacy pages. Schema markup is a paid feature: free-plan widgets display your reviews but don't emit JSON-LD, so free pages aren't eligible for rich snippets.

What gets injected automaticallylive
<script type="application/ld+json">
{
  "@type": "LocalBusiness",
  "name": "Your Business",
  "aggregateRating": {
    "ratingValue": "4.9",
    "reviewCount": "127"
  }
}
</script>

Star-snippet visibility is ultimately decided by Google — valid schema is a prerequisite, not a guarantee. BlooTrue ships the markup; Google decides which queries get stars. For SERP rich snippets to appear under your parent page's link, the schema must be served on the parent page itself — that's what the standalone JSON-LD endpoint (paid plans) is for. Schema markup is a paid feature, so free-plan widgets display your reviews but don't emit JSON-LD. Independent studies find pages with valid review schema see materially higher click-through rates than plain listings.

Why Use BlooTrue for Yelp on HubSpot?

The only free way to put Yelp reviews on HubSpot pages — Yelp has no embed, and HubSpot has no Yelp module.

Fills Yelp's Missing Embed

Yelp doesn't publish an official embed widget for merchants. BlooTrue is the free, paste-and-go alternative — pulls reviews from your public Yelp page automatically.

No Developer Ticket

The whole install lives in the drag-and-drop page editor. No HubL, no theme-code access, no design manager. Marketing ships Yelp social proof without waiting on a sprint.

Fills the HubSpot Marketplace Gap

HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party Yelp reviews module. BlooTrue drops into the standard Embed module on the free CMS tier, landing pages, and blog templates.

No Yelp API Key Required

Works with any public Yelp business profile. No Yelp Fusion application, no API quotas, no business-level claim required.

What makes a Yelp widget different from a Google review widget?

Yelp's review ecosystem has its own API rules, review filter, and attribution requirements. Knowing them up front avoids surprises after you embed.

How BlooTrue pulls Yelp reviews — the Yelp Fusion API

BlooTrue uses Yelp's official Yelp Fusion API to fetch review data. The widget makes one server-side request per business listing roughly every 24 hours, well inside Yelp's default daily request budget of 5,000 calls. Yelp returns the most recent 3 reviews per business via the Fusion endpoint plus the aggregate star rating and review count. BlooTrue caches the response, so your site never hits Yelp directly — visitor traffic to your page does not consume Yelp API quota. Because the data comes through the official Fusion API, every review remains attributed to the original Yelp listing with a link back, which is what Yelp's display guidelines require.

Yelp's review filter and what shows up in the widget

Yelp runs an algorithmic content filter that quietly hides reviews it classifies as low-quality, suspicious, or written by users with very little Yelp activity. These “not recommended” reviews still exist on the Yelp listing under a separate tab, but the Fusion API only returns the publicly-displayed (recommended) set. BlooTrue's widget shows whatever Yelp shows publicly — no more, no less. This is by design and protects you from displaying content that Yelp itself has flagged. If a review disappears from your widget overnight, it almost always means Yelp's filter reclassified it; this is normal Yelp behavior, not a widget bug.

Yelp Elite reviews and how the widget surfaces them

Yelp Elite Squad members are vetted reviewers selected by Yelp for their writing quality and community contributions. Their reviews carry an “Elite” badge inside the Yelp ecosystem and tend to be longer, more detailed, and more trusted by readers. BlooTrue's widget preserves the Elite designation when it's present, so visitors can see at a glance which reviewers Yelp itself has identified as credible. If you actively cultivate relationships with local Elite reviewers, those reviews show up alongside everyone else's — the widget doesn't boost or sort by Elite status, but it doesn't hide it either.

Yelp display compliance: logo, star icon, attribution

Yelp's display guidelines require that any third-party widget (a) display the Yelp logo or wordmark on each review card or in the widget header, (b) use Yelp's official red star icon for ratings rather than a substitute, and (c) link each review back to its source URL on yelp.com. BlooTrue handles all three automatically — you don't need to add anything to your embed code. Removing the Yelp logo or replacing the star icon (e.g. with a gold star to match your brand) violates Yelp's terms, so the widget doesn't expose those as customizable. If you need full visual control, use the BlooTrue Google widget instead, which has no such third-party constraints.

Yelp tips for HubSpot

  • The Embed module works on HubSpot's free CMS tier — no Marketing Hub upgrade needed to show Yelp reviews.
  • Marketing teams can add the widget to landing pages without a developer: drag an Embed module, paste, publish.
  • For blog-wide placement, add the embed to your blog template in the design manager so every post carries Yelp proof.

How Do I Install BlooTrue Yelp on HubSpot?

Takes less than a minute. Same path on website pages, landing pages, and blog templates.

1

Edit the Page in HubSpot

In HubSpot, open Marketing → Website → Website Pages (or Landing Pages for a Marketing Hub landing page) and click Edit on the page where you want Yelp reviews.

Works on the free CMS tier and every paid Hub — same editor, same modules.

2

Drag an Embed Module Into the Layout

In the page editor, drag an Embed module from the left panel into the layout where you want reviews to appear.

A Custom HTML module works identically — the BlooTrue snippet is plain HTML, so use whichever module your theme exposes.

3

Paste the Snippet and Publish

Paste the BlooTrue Yelp embed code into the module field, then click Publish. Your Yelp reviews appear on the live page instantly.

4

Optional — Blog-Wide Placement via the Blog Template

To show Yelp reviews on every blog post, add the same Embed (or Custom HTML) module to your blog template — one edit covers the entire blog.

No-developer note: nothing in this flow needs HubL, theme-code access, or the design manager — it all happens in the editors the marketing team already uses.

Reviews auto-sync from Yelp every 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the BlooTrue Yelp widget free for HubSpot?

Yes. BlooTrue is completely free for HubSpot. No marketplace module, no recurring fee, unlimited views with no caps, no Hub upgrade required. The free plan shows your Yelp reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer.

Does Yelp offer its own embed widget for HubSpot?

No. Yelp does not provide an official embed widget for businesses to display their reviews on a website — Yelp's Fusion API is gated for partner apps, not merchant self-embeds. HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party Yelp reviews module either. BlooTrue fills both gaps with a free embed pasted into the standard Embed module.

Do I need a Yelp API key or Yelp Fusion access?

No. BlooTrue works with any public Yelp business profile — no Yelp API key, no Yelp Fusion application, no business-level claim required.

Does it work on HubSpot's free CMS?

Yes. HubSpot's free CMS tier ships the same drag-and-drop page editor with the Embed and Custom HTML modules, so the snippet pastes in exactly the same way as on paid CMS Hub tiers. No upgrade required to display Yelp reviews.

Can I add Yelp reviews to a HubSpot blog template?

Yes. Add the Embed (or Custom HTML) module to your blog template and the widget renders on every blog post automatically — one edit covers the whole blog. Particularly useful for local-service businesses whose blog drives discovery traffic.

Does it work on Marketing Hub landing pages?

Yes. Marketing Hub landing pages use the same page editor — drag the Embed module in, paste the snippet, Publish. For local-service campaigns, Yelp reviews next to a booking form is exactly the social proof prospects are looking for.

Will the widget slow down my HubSpot pages?

No. The widget loads asynchronously after your page content. The script is under 20KB and reviews are served from a CDN cache. Typical impact on Largest Contentful Paint is under 50ms — well within Core Web Vitals thresholds.
