BBB Review Widget for HubSpot — Free, the Only Free Path

BlooTrue's BBB Review Widget for HubSpot is a free embed that displays your BBB reviews on any HubSpot page — CMS Hub website pages (including the free CMS tier), Marketing Hub landing pages, and blog templates. There's a double gap to bridge: BBB does not publish an official embed widget for merchants (its Fusion API is gated for partner apps like Apple Maps and Trivago), and HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party BBB reviews module. BlooTrue fills both gaps with a snippet that drops into the standard HubSpot Embed module (or Custom HTML module): edit the page, drag the module from the left panel into the layout, paste, Publish. No HubL, no theme code, no developer ticket — the marketing team ships BBB social proof on its own. 100+ widget styles, light and dark themes, free custom color picker. SEO rich snippets — schema.org Review + AggregateRating JSON-LD — injected automatically.

How to embed BBB reviews on HubSpot in 60 seconds

  1. Paste your BBB business profile URL (bbb.org/./profile/your-business-slug) into the configurator above.
  2. Pick a widget style and customize colors, theme, and layout.
  3. Click Copy Code to get the one-line HTML embed.
  4. In HubSpot: Marketing → Website → Website Pages (or Landing Pages), then Edit the page.
  5. Drag an Embed module (or Custom HTML) from the left panel into the layout, paste the snippet.
  6. Click Publish. For blog-wide reviews, add the same module to your blog template.

Why doesn't BBB have an official embed?

BBB's Fusion API is positioned as a partner-channel product (used by sites like Apple Maps and Trivago) rather than as a merchant self-service product. BBB does not publish a paste-ready embed widget the way Google publishes Place Cards. On the HubSpot side the gap is the same — the marketplace has no first-party BBB reviews module. Third-party widgets like BlooTrue are the canonical way to surface BBB reviews on a HubSpot page, and because the install is a drag-and-drop module, a marketing team can do it without engineering.

Get golden stars in Google search results

On paid plans, every BlooTrue widget injects schema.org Review + AggregateRating JSON-LD straight into your page — so Google and AI answer engines can read your ratings and reviews as structured data, and your pages become eligible for star-rating rich snippets. (Google treats a business's own reviews on its own site as "self-serving" and doesn't guarantee stars for them — product/service reviews are the most reliably eligible; either way your reviews become machine-readable for search and AI.)

Your Business — Trusted by 500+ Happy Customers

See what 127 verified customers are saying — read real Google reviews, ratings, and detailed feedback about our services, pricing, and team.

4.9
(127)
This is what your customers see when they Google you — powered by BlooTrue's JSON-LD.
  • Zero config — it just works

    The moment you embed a BlooTrue widget, JSON-LD markup is injected automatically. No extra tags, no developer time.

  • Google Rich Results valid

    Every field follows Google's current structured-data guidelines — LocalBusiness, AggregateRating, and Review — so it passes the Rich Results Test out of the box.

  • Standalone schema endpoint Paid plans

    For star ratings to appear under your parent page's blue link in Google, search engines need the schema on the parent page itself — iframe-embedded schema is not propagated to the host page. Paid plans expose a JSON-LD endpoint per widget that you drop into your<head>for SERP rich snippets on product, landing, or legacy pages. Schema markup is a paid feature: free-plan widgets display your reviews but don't emit JSON-LD, so free pages aren't eligible for rich snippets.

  "@type": "LocalBusiness",
  "name": "Your Business",
  "aggregateRating": {
    "ratingValue": "4.9",

  }
}
</script>

Star-snippet visibility is ultimately decided by Google — valid schema is a prerequisite, not a guarantee. BlooTrue ships the markup; Google decides which queries get stars. For SERP rich snippets to appear under your parent page's link, the schema must be served on the parent page itself — that's what the standalone JSON-LD endpoint (paid plans) is for. Schema markup is a paid feature, so free-plan widgets display your reviews but don't emit JSON-LD. Independent studies find pages with valid review schema see materially higher click-through rates than plain listings.

Why Use BlooTrue for BBB on HubSpot?

The only free way to put BBB reviews on HubSpot pages — BBB has no embed, and HubSpot has no BBB module.

Fills BBB's Missing Embed

BBB doesn't publish an official embed widget for merchants. BlooTrue is the free, paste-and-go alternative — pulls reviews from your public BBB business profile automatically.

No Developer Ticket

The whole install lives in the drag-and-drop page editor. No HubL, no theme-code access, no design manager. Marketing ships BBB social proof without waiting on a sprint.

Fills the HubSpot Marketplace Gap

HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party BBB reviews module. BlooTrue drops into the standard Embed module on the free CMS tier, landing pages, and blog templates.

No BBB API Key Required

Works with any public BBB business profile. No BBB Fusion application, no API quotas, no business-level claim required.

What makes a BBB widget different from a Google review widget?

BBB customer reviews are a native 1–5 star system. Knowing how they differ from BBB's A+-to-F letter rating, how profile setup works, and how reviews are moderated avoids surprises after you embed.

BBB customer reviews vs the A+-to-F “BBB rating”

BBB has two separate signals, and this widget shows only one of them. The first is the 1–5 star customer reviews — written by your customers about their experience — with an overall customer-review average; that's what BlooTrue displays. The second is the A+-to-F letter “BBB rating”, which is BBB's own grade for how a business interacts with BBB (complaint history, transparency, time in business, accreditation status) — the widget does not show this letter rating or the accreditation seal. BlooTrue renders each customer review exactly as stars: a 5-star review shows 5 stars, a 3-star review shows 3, and the header shows your real BBB customer-review average and count. The header rating always comes from BBB's own published customer-review aggregate, never from averaging the individual cards on screen.

Where the reviews come from and how often they refresh

BlooTrue fetches the publicly-visible customer reviews from your BBB business profile on a server-side schedule — roughly once every 24 hours on paid plans — and caches the result. Your site never calls BBB directly, so visitor traffic to your page doesn't depend on BBB being reachable, and the widget loads instantly from cache. Only reviews that are public on your profile are included. Each review keeps its reviewer name, star rating, and text, and links back to your BBB business profile.

Accreditation, profile setup, and what shows up in the widget

You do not need to be a BBB Accredited Business to use this widget — it works with any public BBB business profile, accredited or not. Reviews only appear if your profile is public and has customer reviews. If your profile is brand new or has zero reviews, there's nothing for the widget to import yet — it will populate as soon as your first public customer review lands. Once your profile has reviews, the widget shows whatever is public: no more, no less. If a review disappears from your widget after a sync, it almost always means the customer deleted it or BBB removed it — the widget simply follows your profile's public state.

Moderation, review guidelines, and attribution

BBB moderates customer reviews under its review guidelines and removes spam, fraudulent submissions, and content that violates its policies. Because BlooTrue reads only your profile's public reviews, the widget automatically reflects those removals on the next sync — you never display content BBB has already taken down. Every card keeps the BBB mark and the reviewer's name, and clicking a review links back to your BBB business profile, so attribution stays intact. BlooTrue never fabricates a rating: an empty star-only review (a star rating with no written text) is still shown as a real review, and the header number is always BBB's own customer-review aggregate.

BBB tips for HubSpot

  • The Embed module works on HubSpot's free CMS tier — no Marketing Hub upgrade needed to show BBB reviews.
  • Marketing teams can add the widget to landing pages without a developer: drag an Embed module, paste, publish.
  • For blog-wide placement, add the embed to your blog template in the design manager so every post carries BBB proof.

How Do I Install BlooTrue BBB on HubSpot?

Takes less than a minute. Same path on website pages, landing pages, and blog templates.

1

Edit the Page in HubSpot

In HubSpot, open Marketing → Website → Website Pages (or Landing Pages for a Marketing Hub landing page) and click Edit on the page where you want BBB reviews.

Works on the free CMS tier and every paid Hub — same editor, same modules.

2

Drag an Embed Module Into the Layout

In the page editor, drag an Embed module from the left panel into the layout where you want reviews to appear.

A Custom HTML module works identically — the BlooTrue snippet is plain HTML, so use whichever module your theme exposes.

3

Paste the Snippet and Publish

Paste the BlooTrue BBB embed code into the module field, then click Publish. Your BBB reviews appear on the live page instantly.

4

Optional — Blog-Wide Placement via the Blog Template

To show BBB reviews on every blog post, add the same Embed (or Custom HTML) module to your blog template — one edit covers the entire blog.

No-developer note: nothing in this flow needs HubL, theme-code access, or the design manager — it all happens in the editors the marketing team already uses.

Reviews auto-sync from BBB every 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the BlooTrue BBB widget free for HubSpot?

Yes. BlooTrue is completely free for HubSpot. No marketplace module, no recurring fee, unlimited widget views, no Hub upgrade required. The free plan shows your BBB reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer.

Does BBB offer its own embed widget for HubSpot?

No. BBB does not provide an official embed widget for businesses to display their reviews on a website — BBB's Fusion API is gated for partner apps, not merchant self-embeds. HubSpot's marketplace has no first-party BBB reviews module either. BlooTrue fills both gaps with a free embed pasted into the standard Embed module.

Do I need a BBB API key or BBB Fusion access?

No. BlooTrue works with any public BBB business profile — no BBB API key, no BBB Fusion application, no business-level claim required.

Does it work on HubSpot's free CMS?

Yes. HubSpot's free CMS tier ships the same drag-and-drop page editor with the Embed and Custom HTML modules, so the snippet pastes in exactly the same way as on paid CMS Hub tiers. No upgrade required to display BBB reviews.

Can I add BBB reviews to a HubSpot blog template?

Yes. Add the Embed (or Custom HTML) module to your blog template and the widget renders on every blog post automatically — one edit covers the whole blog. Particularly useful for local-service businesses whose blog drives discovery traffic.

Does it work on Marketing Hub landing pages?

Yes. Marketing Hub landing pages use the same page editor — drag the Embed module in, paste the snippet, Publish. For local-service campaigns, BBB reviews next to a booking form is exactly the social proof prospects are looking for.

Will the widget slow down my HubSpot pages?

No. The widget loads asynchronously after your page content. The script is under 20KB and reviews are served from a CDN cache. Typical impact on Largest Contentful Paint is under 50ms — well within Core Web Vitals thresholds.
